  1. Wow, this must be the most anticlimactic decision ever in the overall, especially the women's It was a pretty nice fight between a technical specialist and a speed specialist. Well, RIP that.
  2. It definitely can, we'll just have to wait a while. I want to know too
  3. Great, according to the qualifying document, NOC's will only be informed of quota places in January 2022 17 January 2022 FIS to inform NOCs and NFs of their allocated quota places and eligibility through publication on the FIS Website and provide the login details to access the FIS online system for confirmation of quota places. I do hope they'll take a bit shorter with the nations cup ranking places...
  4. And I see I voted for the winner Could be a more easy formation process than expected, with VVD, D66 and CDA it might already be enough and they're not all that far away from each other (and definitely familiar with each other).
  5. Cambodia has a skeleton slider, apparently He'll compete in one of the 'races' in Pyeongchang tomorrow. https://www.instagram.com/srey_reachboth_/ There's also a Vietnamese woman competing.
  6. Spent a good 2 hours in the train plus walking today and so listened the whole playlist (almost, I lost some time because it took me a while to realize Spotify went to 'related songs' after the playlist finishd ). Quality really seems to be excellent all around
  7. Well, what an anticlimax of a season full of them
  8. Both yesterday's and today's downhill trainings at the World Cup finals in Lenzerheide have been cancelled. Tomorrow's downhill races are still scheduled, but surely that'll change...? As far as I know, a downhill isn't allowed to happen without at least one training run..
  9. His head being on the road was basically the problem today
  10. Anyone (@dcro perhaps?) who remembers how long it took four years ago for FIS to start the whole process of allocating quotas and other things which really indicate which countries will get how many quotas?
  11. Cort Nielsen wins the last stage, Laporte started his sprint with 10 meters to go...
  12. Apparently Roglic is losing Paris against Nice to Schachmann after a fall and a mechanical failure (causing a fall), he's not making up the time.
  13. Wow, that was some battle between Van der Poel and Pogacar
  14. Yeah going to a sprint finish with Holund means you have a good chance of winning
  15. That 20km split is definitely not at 20km
  16. GPS doesn't work well for anyone and there's only one split time...at 20km Great job.
  17. Brazilian GPS is broken. Or forgotten.
  18. Time for the 30k to close out the season. Hopefully @brunamoura can find some alright pace, she's got a train back to the Netherlands to catch in the finish town, a little under three hours after the start
  19. Absolute legend. RIP
  20. The Brazilian NOC's main goal (from January on, they hadn't realized it earlier...) has been to go for the two tickets, so I would assume they'd definitely use both of them, yes. As for the total ranking, there could be some mistakes in the higher positions, there are some differences between mine and the one of Brazil's manager, but we're not sure where the difference comes from. Anyhow, this is my ranking: Position Country Points 1 SWE 12996 2 RUS 12487 3 USA 11999 4 GER 9460 5 NOR 9194 6 FIN 8913 7 CZE 7285 8 ITA 6795 9 SUI 6479 10 SLO 5115 11 POL 3733 12 FRA 3676 13 CAN 3434 14 AUT 3429 15 UKR 2190 16 CHN 1910 17 JPN 1746 18 LAT 1732 19 EST 1667 20 KAZ 1354 21 SVK 1109 22 BLR 671 23 SRB 665 24 KOR 409 25 GRE 368 26 LTU 317 27 BRA 312 28 AND 308 29 TUR 305 30 CRO 296 31 THA 282 32 AUS 225 33 ARM 200 34 LIE 131 35 MGL 94 36 ESP 61 37 ROU 54 38 BIH 40 39 ISL 40 40 HUN 34 41 ARG 24 42 CHI 21 43 BUL 9 44 IRI 8 45 MKD 7 46 LBN 3 47 MNE 2 48 POR 2 49 MEX 1 50 COL 1
  21. Wow, Primoz Roglic sprints the almost already celebrating Gino Mäder out of his first World Tour win Looked like nobody had even informed Mäder that there was someone coming, could be an epic mistake from the team..
  22. Disclaimers, etc. New women's ranking around the interesting positions: Croatia making it to a second ticket or not will depend entirely on whether or not Karen Chanloung starts and finishes tomorrow's race. That's a bit of an interesting predicament, considering she'd give Thailand a second ticket with which they can do literally nothing, but she'd take away one from Croatia. Brazil should be able to get to 26th at least, and 25th if both finish tomorrow. No danger from behind anymore, only Thailand can (and will) pass them in case Chanloung finishes and both Bruna and Jaque don't, but since Brazil is in 27th and not 30th, that's no problem.
  23. @brunamoura got more screen time than whoever finished 7th or something Points! And with that, if we are not somehow grossly mistaken, a second Olympic ticket for the Brazilian women, that is insane
  24. Steve in his home-made Brazilian suit which is so many million times better than the official, boring Brazilian one
