  1. So you finish a stage in the middle of the mountains, an absolutely perfect spot to start the next stage. But no, you decide to go to the Tour de France's asshole to start the next stage with 50 flat kilometers....towards those same mountains! What on earth is it with ASO and Pau, why go to this stain on the face of the earth every...single...time? I've already seen plenty of photoshops this morning, I enjoyed this one saying "We'd rather go to Wuhan"
  2. Lashmanova, that's long ago I heard that name. Basically the whole thing started there (at least the Chegin-saga) if I'm not mistaken
  3. If you really are ethical and have a good standard of integrity in whatever you write and such, people will notice and you won't need to put any emphasis on it. Just trust on that.
  4. Who even still uses Facebook? Young people used it, then their parents and grandparents started using it so the young people moved to somewhere else, until the parents and grandparents start using that as well and so on
  5. Which I think is alright in some cases, and bad in others. For example in the case of a terrorist attack or some disaster or anything truly 'breaking' like that, the first thing I do is turn on CNN on TV and open a forum where people gather all kinds of tweets and such on my laptop. Social media has it's value, even though some people like to see it as all bad.
  6. Just my personal opinion: the most 'neutral' and fact-based journalists usually don't put so much emphasis on their 'ethics and integrity' standards, simply because it's obvious from their work and they don't need to press it Not meant as some sort of negative criticism or something, to be clear, just something I've noticed over the years.
  7. If it tastes the same, feels the same and has the same nutritional values, why give a fuck where it comes from. If option A and option B have the main things the same and B is better for the environment and such than A, wanting A just because is just a little weird.
  8. Absolutely, much as I am sometimes surprised you don't work for the exact opposites on the other far end of the spectrum
  9. The only person I know who actually went to see Tenet told us (colleagues) not to waste our time with it and said his sacrifice was enough. I'm not very motivated now to go and watch
  10. Because everything and everyone in the USA exaggerates literally everything about literally everyone. I wish we had a prime minister who had a light moment with some honeybees (which are in rather serious trouble anyway, and barely anything is being done to help them). +1 for the Slovak lady.
  11. If the people keep this up on the mountains, the Tour isn't gonna reach Paris by the way..
  12. This was his first short moment of glory one can assume, since he's not here for a good GC result, but for stage wins. We'll see him again later
  13. Good graphics. Roglic is going 25km/h while staying right in the wheel of Martin who is going 19km/h
  14. Even better, if he keeps going like this, Pogacar might even have a chance to take yellow!
  15. Pogacar is jumping all the way back in the GC fight if he keeps this up
  16. Which shouldn't be a problem. The rule is not 20km in mountain stages like this.
  17. As you can see, there's almost nobody on the mountains anymore!
  18. There we go, Pogacar opening the attack, as sort of expected
  19. Nizzolo, Bonnet, Calmejane and now Rosa. Those abandons of today could start to be like a good team.
