Still sad for the Italian athletes though. They could easily have had several years of extra training, which would have resulted in men's skeleton, women's skeleton, two-man and four-man bobs and basically all luge disciplines having very significant medal chances and even gold medal chances, but now....it's basically as much their home track as it is Ferlazzo's or Rocha's home track. Two years and it has to be done, up and running and having held test competitions.
