    Kind of the opposite of the Dutch men, where it's been a hot mess for 2-3 years now in terms of coaches and the close friendship between Lavreysen and Hoogland (in Tokyo they were still roommates as always) basically disappearing due to, among other things, Lavreysen wanting one coach and Hoogland and most of the others wanting another - and Lavreysen getting his way.

    Exactly, and here we generally dislike the (current format of) the mass start Considering like speed skating, canoe slalom is a rather niche and obscure sport in the world, I think a majority of Olympic viewers will actually like it... Curious what (all of) the athletes think of it, that's the most important I think.
