  1. I guess it's a mistake from IWF, because this sure doesn't look like someone ready to lift in a few weeks
  2. Wait, why is Bahador Moulaei on the entry list even though according to @MHSN and his countrymen he wasn't selected for the Iranian team? (see the Iran Thread)
  3. Yeah the most annoying thing is people saying it's ridiculous At first I thought "oh damn now all people are playing it and at the same time making fun of it and Pokémon, which I loved so much when I was young", but people actually like it more and more and it seems Pokémon is having a huge, huge second youth for the creators of this game, and I'm guessing they're out of financial trouble forever now
  4. Yeah if you're afraid of that, I suggest you turn off internet forever and don't use anything ever again Besides, if they see me posting about biathlon or swimming or something, who cares, catching Pokémon is more important
  5. How many Pokémon have you caught?
  6. But there's a difference between discussing and outright insulting entire nations and people I mean: 1. "You think athlete A can win a medal? Nah, I doubt it very much.." 2. "You think athlete A can win a medal? No way, you're an idiot if you really think that." Sort of the same meaning, but very different way of saying it
  7. You could have written that in the beginning, now I read this sentence and thought "Dude, I just read the entire post already!" But of course we're gonna make it a great month during the Olympics and hopefully (in a lesser degree, I know) during the Paralympics
  8. I'm confused, which Mexican will be in the men's -58kg in Rio? The taekwondo Wikipedia and the qualifying thread here on Totallympics list Cesar Rodriguez, but the "Mexico at the 2016 Olympics" Wiki lists Navarro, which would make much more sense.. Also, this says Navarro, so I'm guessing he will be the one, but I'm confused https://deportes.terra.com/carlos-navarro-entrena-diario-para-medalla-de-oro-en-taekwondo-en-rio,bca23b567cdc6faf34bea663365a5512k28b2y5u.html
  9. Unless the pressure gets too much to handle
  10. "I thought I was doing taekwondo, until after 3 months I realized I was doing judo."
  11. Definitely, though a victory for Pantano is nice on any day
  12. Ilnur Good finish and man that was a hard stage. Looking forward to tomorrow's time trial
  13. And even bigger, he loses the 2015 Tour de Ski and overall World Cup victories
  14. So UAE managed to get a women's weightlifting quota after all despite most of their lifters being horribly below level I missed that
  15. Pieter Timmers won't swim the men's 200m freestyle btw, I'm guessing there are some more things like that in the list that are not entirely correct
  16. This also includes all teams selected by the national federations right? I mean, if someone is listed here as swimming event X, unless he/she gets injured or something this athlete will swim event X?
  17. I would love if they turn it into that Yellow --> Best GC Pola dot --> Best climber Green --> Best sprinter Red --> Most attacking rider
  18. Thanks, that's a bit more clear explanation I can understand the Polish anger now...
  19. So the tournament in Aachen doesn't matter anymore right? Why bring that up then? Yes, I'm aware of the situation around her qualification. So no, it doesn't look like Logutenkova is a cheater as far as I know. Let's ask for a neutral view on the situation because I'm curious now... @dcro, we need you
  20. So why is Logutenkova the cheater? Isn't the problem with the international federations?
  21. Personally I would go for 0 points in mountain stages (there are mountain points for that), a few points in hilly stages and for flat stages something like 25-20-18-etc (a bit like in MotoGP or Formula 1). And no intermediate sprints, they're useless
  22. Especially the 1st one seems like something that could actually change something so much. The third one...I think that's not very different for most other nations
