  1. Something about his clips or his coach giving him new clips or something Not entirely sure, but he did have a problem with the clips at the first shooting (they were empty by the looks of it, so he didn't fill them after the zeroing, which would be a huge amateur mistake..)
  2. Wow, Kocergina putting down her 4th best ever result Friday really meant a lot to Lithuania To get a bit of an idea, these are the best athletes from non top-22 nations on the previously posted IBU Qualifying List (from last trimester I think, so it's not entirely accurate).
  3. Of course Nothing against Shiffrin, but someone shaking it up a bit is always good
  4. CNN isn't showing any maps, just headlining that the country of Melania Trump has now also brought forth a new World Cup-winning alpine skier.
  5. Quick, tune in on CNN, unconfirmed reports of earthquakes in the Slovak city of Kosice
  6. Kwiatkowski! Wow, what a sprint
  7. Well, that was useless from Quick-Step
  8. Now that was a freakishly impressive move from Gaviria and his team to get to the front.
  9. Way better than that Jesus-look of the season's openings in Belgium Meanwhile, 15k to go in La Primavera
  10. It will if we meet in South America
  11. When everyone has saved enough money to afford the travel
  12. This nearly made me cry..
  13. What a weekend for Laukkanen... Friday afternoon: win your first ever World Cup race after 200+ attempts Friday night: the Finnish national team shooting coach died aged 60 after being hospitalized last week Saturday afternoon: win your second ever World Cup race with arguably your most impressive shooting result ever What better way to honour your coach so short after his death..
  14. That's just really not the same, at all And no, people who are like "slow motion shows they're cheating!!" don't get it
  15. True, and I think a whole lot of people, race walkers included, would like to see that changed and work with for example things like sensors (which are being developed and there are serious plans to have them in big competitions within a few years). It would shut up the people who don't get it and therefore say they are cheating all the time + it'd make it more fair and I'm pretty sure most would be in favour of that
  16. The bigger problem is with people who don't get the rules and say that everyone is cheating 'because the slow-motions clearly show that'. Nope, slow-motions don't show that someone is cheating because it has to be seen by the human eye indeed. And like race walkers themselves say: "Changing those rules would not be a problem, because then we would simply change our technique so that we are still within the rules."
  17. I had seen the Danish talking Dutch, but not the Dutch talking Danish, cool Well, what's your judgement about our Astrid? I wasn't overly impressed with the guy on Danish TV, but the woman was doing a very nice job and I had no problem understanding her at all
  18. Well, they finished 2nd
  19. It should be no problem at all to get some good voting machines there. They don't even need to have any sort of network interface or something.
  20. It's really time to use machines, come on, it's 2017 but the elections are done as if it was 1920
  21. That's what VVD's Mark Rutte did as well, specifically taking some time saying it's sad to see PvdA lose an insane amount of seats
  22. This one is never ever gonna happen The one with 85 is by far the most likely.
  23. Well it is the 2nd most important country behind USA, obviously.
  24. Exactly. For example Schiermonnikoog is a tourist destination and will definitely have some people enjoying a short vacation there at the moment, and taking the chance to vote there
