  1. Tatar - Kim, that was an awesome final half minute But 9-9 after three rounds and they're walking away, what's the decision about who wins? Edit: Golden score of course, I guess
  2. Aaaaand we're live again:
  3. Out of curiousity, why is Rostami considered the bad guy in this situation? If he so desperately wants to train on his own, what's so horribly wrong with that even though it might be unusual? To an outsider like me it sounds more like those coaches are being babies who can't handle someone not training with the team
  4. Yep, I've liked Force India almost since the beginning because they have never been the team that just throws with money for 1-2 years of quick success only to fail and leave. Since the beginning they have always slowly but steadily improved, year after year, from last place to beating some times to being in the points more and more often to now becoming regular outsiders for top-6 positions or even a podium if some weird stuff happens. Really cool to see progress like that and I truly hope they'll keep existing.
  5. July and August are great, especially in uneven years (Tour de France, Wimbledon, swimming worlds, athletics worlds) But still, nothing compares to the cozy and "finally!!" feeling I get when the ski's are back on and the rifles start firing in Östersund Only one and a half month until the South American cross-country season starts
  6. That one too, absolutely
  7. Good start podium for the Costa Rica national ITT champs, don't let the professionalism kill you
  8. Thanks, this looks cool
  9. Obviously winter is the best season because that's when the best sports happen
  10. Agreed, in the case of summer! Swimming world champs comes to mind first and starting this and next week, Tour de France and Wimbledon...summer has arrived
  11. Is there a video of yesterday's competition? I see no single Dutch media has written about Wegman yet, so I'll be the first
  12. She crapped in the octagon, oops
  13. Not sure if it would be my number one of the last 3 years, but damn it was entertaining indeed Ocon vs Perez, throwing away an insane double podium (possibly even a win) for Force India I just hope Red Bull will fix their problems, this is getting frustrating
  14. Well that sounds like a boatload of fun (get it? )
  15. Slalom cross? What's this?
  16. Sorn Seavmey is the one with the 15 meter long legs right?
  17. Well yeah, but I doubt someone would say "Hey let's pretend like Marques is DQ'ed, just for the fun of it" If Phuc had to withdraw due to injury, I'd expect Marques to still be DQ'ed because that has nothing to do with it
  18. This sport is awesome So, yesterday the Brazilian guy in today's 68kg was apparently DQ'ed, meaning the winner of Phuc - Shrestha would go on to the round of 32. Phuc won, but then for some reason withdrew from the fight against Marques, who suddenly wasn't DQ'ed anymore and even went on to kick Nikpai out Nice free pass for Ortiz into the round of 32 as well, double DQ For f*ck's sake, how can it be so hard to get within the weight that apparently, people being DQ'ed is completely normal instead of a very rare event?
  19. [hide] Knockout Round June 28th - July 2nd, 2017 4 Nations, Semifinals, Bronze Medal Match, Gold Medal Match Semifinals Moskow Time (GMT +3) Date and Venue Team 1 T1 T2 Team 2 June 28th 2017, h. 21:00, Kazan Arena, Kazan Portugal 2 0 Chile June 29th 2017, h. 21:00, Fisht Olympic Stadium, Sochi Germany 1 0 Mexico [/hide]
  20. Well I hope somewhere in the future the athletes of Iran, Syria etc will be allowed to compete against Israel's athletes. I'll raise a glass on that when that day comes
  21. But doesn't Iran do the same to make a statement? I mean, what other reason is there than making a statement? I mostly feel bad for these athletes, I doubt they want to throw away their careers because some moronic idiots in politics can't act like someone older than 2 years.
  22. Not necessarily, I didn't know they were drawn against each other. These stupid, stupid, stupid governments... these are almost more legit reasons to ban a nation from the Olympics than for example Russia's doping stuff.
  23. Yep, his headrest was loose. He tried to push it back but that didn't work. Behind the safety car Hamilton was going slow, Vettel hit him in the back and then went up to Hamilton, did a Vettel (showing his hands) and then bumped straight into Hamilton Best part of it all: when Vettel got told he had a 10 second stop & go, he reacted on the radio by saying "Dangerous driving? What did I do??" The guy truly has lost his brains or something.
