Qualification Tracker

Test

Everything posted by heywoodu

  1. Definitely, it's sort of weird there are no separate times for high or low altitude tracks, like I'm fairly sure there are for World Cup qualifying standards.
  2. Roglic is the best buy LottoNL-Jumbo/Belkin/Blanco/Rabobank did in a very long time
  3. ISU has announced the qualifying procedures. These are the standards, I think they are almost easier than the qualifying standards for Dutch championships http://static.isu.org/media/544073/2101-owg-2018-ss-qualifying-procedure.pdf
  4. I didn't see any of those, mostly because I only watch the final sessions and in the first day I forgot to watch it (and Artamanov - Tortosa was when I was excersising so I guess I was too tired to pay attention to why the fight was over ) Thanks for the explanation though, it makes things a lot clearer.
  5. Hmm, I was convinced there were some times when A got a penalty but B didn't get a point, but I might have been wrong then. So 10 penalties means you lose? I didn't see more than 6 penalties in one fight yet an was curious all the time when another penalty would mean the end
  6. Issoufou First world title for Niger in any Olympic sport/event?
  7. What happens if the referee says "fight!" and they keep doing nothing and he says it again and the still don't do anything?
  8. Let's go Issoufou The "Olé olé olé olé, Niger, Niger!" after he reached the final in Rio is still in my ears, one of the best moments of the Olympics
  9. Headkick in the golden score
  10. I really don't get this penalty system and why the other sometimes gets a point when the opponent gets a penalty but sometimes the other doesn't get a point
  11. Well this is not very entertaining at all so far
  12. Come on Reshmie
  13. And there's Davis' first win, still possible to play 5 matches in one day
  14. Instead of fixing it, they just took away the whole scoring graphic from the screen
  15. I've seen mix-ups with Slovenia/Slovakia, but Slovenia and the Solomon Islands is a new one for me
  16. Maybe a lack of experience or something?
  17. Because in one part you can lose your head and in another part you can only lose your stuff....
  18. To be honest, I barely ever hear anything bad about Cape Verde
  19. The grass tournament in Eastbourne is going well with all the rain....with a bit of luck, Robin Haase will play 2 singles and 2 doubles tomorrow and Lauren Davis might even play 2 doubles and 3 (!) singles matches because of all the delays so far
  20. Tour de France organizers don't have humour Bakelants was asked some questions by Het Laatste Nieuws: Question: When will you call your parents for the first time? Answer: "When I'm done with all the porn movies, so they can bring some new ones." Q: Three weeks without sex, is that hard? A: "Nah it's alright, you know, the porn movies....plus there's always the podium girls" Q: What will you bring for the free moments? A: "Definitely a pack of condoms, you never know where those podium girls have been." Prudhomme probably lacks a sense of humour or took everything serious or something, because if he read the Belgian interview, he would have seen Bakelants has a family and was joking around with his answers. Shame on you Prudhomme, shame on you for overreacting in today's world
  21. Cool I still remember sitting in the train back home (after going all the way to the airport for a 30 minute meet with a certain Brazilian biathlete ), all sleepy because after a full Olympic day until 6am I decided not to sleep (since I had to leave to go to the airport 7am anyway), being indescribably excited while watching a 50k race walk live stream on my phone and seeing Evan Dunfee taking the lead in the Olympics That race was so full of drama, I'm gonna watch the whole thing again next week
  22. I very much doubt countries like Brazil are on it because of terror, most likely because of 'mafia' like things, you know, 'normal' criminal stuff
  23. "We drink and we pillage and we do what we please, we get all that we want for free!" It's the land of promise
  24. On the bright side, you're highly unlikely to become a victim of crime there I like a little luxury when travelling, but apart from that, I'd have no problem visiting North Korea....I think it would be interesting and if you don't act like a moron and break obvious rules, you should be fine..
