  1. Say hello to the World Cup thread https://totallympics.com/index.php?/topic/1166-cross-country-skiing-fis-world-cup-2018-2019/
  2. Fantastic red card. https://streamja.com/1vAd
  3. Meh, broken pole for Klaebo
  4. Very impressive showing by Skistad ('ski city' in Dutch, btw) so far
  5. Yeah and I hate it (although a small difference is that generally in decathlon/heptathlon there's not really more than 2-3 athletes still in the fight for the win, so it's a bit easier)
  6. Well you never know nowadays, I can see federations think "oh cool, we do the ski jump and then the mass start so when athletes cross the finish line, nobody really knows the result yet, that is super urban!".
  7. Followed by the ski jump?
  8. Or, and I am not kidding, "Top 5 Naomi Osaka shots US Open final 2018" that takes 2-3 minutes.
  9. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe what athletes need is one result under 125 points or an average of under 150 points on the (invisible) IBU ranking.
  10. Well yeah if nobody wants to organise it, that's simple: no tennis If someone does, I'm sure they're free to do so since it's all for fun only.
  11. Because nobody wanted to organise it anymore? (which would be the only valid reason of course)
  12. The difference is that (at least in the cases I know) they have or get some connection with the country, like playing in the national league, living in the country, etc. Some of these Americans in certain countries show not even 1% of any kind of connection whatsoever, just nothing. It's kinda sad really, I hope the Dutch team stays without players like that
  13. I thought usually they at least had some sort of connection though. You know, played in the national league a couple of years or maybe have a grocery store owner who's neighbour's granddad had a friend who's mom's niece once spent a wild weekend in the country, but nothing
  14. Some discussion about the American guy playing for Poland who has basically 0 relation whatsoever with Poland (didn't play there or anything), with the analysis guy on Dutch TV saying 'yeah I don't know, maybe he has a grandma or a dog or something who is born in Poland'
  15. Ah, talking about tennis: tennis.
  16. "The five strips of Atlanta Uniteddddddd, going from left to righttttttt, all in whittttttttte." (after around 10 seconds into the video) The way this commentator pronounces stuff, especially the t at the end of words, is honestly one of the most painfully annoying things I've ever heard.
  17. Time to get drunk.
  18. That might be a surefire way to win, as proven before. For example @dcro dominated the equestrian contest and @thiago_simoes reigned supreme in the gymnastics contest
  19. It's most likely going to take a lot of time for a few participants, although I don't think anyone will (or should) explicitly forbid you from organising it if you feel like it
  20. Netherlands - Poland about to start, @rybak @Monzanator and compatriots....let's go.
  21. I see he played for Krefeld Pinguine....booooooo! Eisbären Berlin
  22. And on what should be in the calendar: all world championships anyone has time for to organise, and continental championships in team sports
  23. IBU won't like that you gave their sport to another federation
