  1. Sounds like a perfect breakfast show
  2. Well, since it's getting deleted in the Euro U21 thread: If those are the best players, yes. I'd want to have the best players of a country in my team, no matter if they're all black, all white or anything in-between. Much like in a company I'd want for example the board of directors to be entirely filled with the best people for the positions, no matter if they're all male, all female or any random mix.
  3. Is it? I seem to remember something similar at one of those odd competitions somewhere last year..something with continents against continents.
  4. Anybody who even comes up with those 'innovative' pieces of horse shit should go with them. So what, football fans are now going to watch athletics because there's 'quarter finals' in the long jump? Or because race walkers aren't going for 50km but only 20km now? Or millions of new people are gonna watch the Diamond League because they won't run further than 3km anymore? Fuck that shit.
  5. Today at the Fanny Blankers-Koen Games in Hengelo. Ugh, ugh, ugh.
  6. 10.75 for Sha'Carri Richardson at the NCAA champs tied for 8th place all-time
  7. Yeah that must suck, since I'm sure they don't sell condoms to kids your age at the local store
  8. Only people who still call their iPhone 'phone' should be allowed to have one. Ugh, those people who talk about 'let me check on my iPhone' or something. Like they've got anything special
  9. Possible as well, one of those situations where I'd sort of be fine with whatever they decide
  10. That seemed like a bit of a dirty move by the one in yellow..
  11. Any video about said VAR situation?
  12. That is seriously impressive for a 19-year old.
  13. Then we could scrap 30+ nations off the list of being able to have home matches I guess.
  14. Well, 'remembered' is a relative term in this case
  15. AIBA, FIFA, IAAF and FIVB are laughing in your face.
  16. Now Thiem, come on, finish Nadal off in the final.
  17. I think you're not doing Oduduru full justice by just saying he ran under 10 and 20 seconds, 9.86 and 19.73 (with only +0.8m/s instead of the usual NCAA hurricane-force wind backing them up) within an hour is incredibly impressive at absolute elite level, let alone college level

  19. I got curious how people in Mississippi generally hunt for food, because apparently it's with spear-like objects.
  20. And Duplantis lost
  21. I'm surprised to see Divine Oduduru and Hakim Sani Brown, I had no idea they went to compete for a college
  22. And an actual football study said the opposite, but I can't find the link on my phone at the moment.
  23. The rebound of the ball shouldn't be a problem, just get used to it. The problem is indeed with things like tackling, there's a rather significant rise in certain kinds of injuries on artificial turf (ankles, mostly). On the other hand, serious knee injuries seem to be more common on actual grass.
  24. Yes, they absolutely do. But it has never been 'simply providing information'.
