Equestrian Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games
Vojthas replied to dcro's topic in Equestrian
Well, if the article is based on the @dcro's work it would be at least nice of them to give him (and a forum btw) as a source. At least that's what I'd do (and I think @Olympian1010 agrees with me). -
According to the tradition Polish Music TV Channel Stars.tv finished the year with "The Final Countdown" by Europe and started a new one with a "Happy New Year" by ABBA (yeah, another ABBA divorce song used in totally different context after very well known in sports "The Winner Takes It All"). Now it's TOP 100 Euro Disco Hits. Seems to be going until morning. So many of Modern Talking, C.C. Catch, Sandra, Savage, Bad Boys Blue and so on... And then 11:15 transition to Wiener Philharmoniker Neujahrskonzert...

Welcome from the future? Do you want a lottery numbers? "There will be no end of the world, because in Tokyo it's tomorrow already"

Do you know how the Dutch language was created? A drunk English sailor came into the German pub and tried to speak German. :P

It doesn't change a thing - one judge gives 10 because he is from the same nation as the athlete, while the other gives 9,5 because he took bribes from his rival. How can we believe the result is fair? The athletes loses by 0,01. Is it fair? It's a sick kind of competition.
-
For me any activity is a sport. But the question is about "competitive sport" - you can count the time of a runner, the distance of the jumper, the number of shoots into the target and so on... It's all objective. When it comes to judging the style, it's all subjective thus there cannot be a justice aka it shouldn't be any competition because it's not fair.
