  1. And US politics hit as well with the Louisiana primary postponed. Guess several others will follow
  2. And British local elections will be postponed for a year https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-51876269 Meanwhile the sports continue
  3. I would guess that RCS would be able to put up a plan B starting in Italy instead, but the big stuff is getting closer!
  4. An 80-year old Dane died from cardiac arrest the night before thursday and was since tested positive. It is however questionable whether the patient died due to virus or just happened to have been infected.
  5. I don't get why they are planning to do stage 7. It's pretty much the same area?
  6. Aren't the boxing European Boxing qualifier still set to happen?
  7. And another hit for the prediction contests with the women's Curling Worlds!
  8. All England and Paris-Nice for me
  9. Feeling like you're ignoring us!
  10. Getting closer to the point where sport events happening would be more interesting
  11. Well. Considering that more and more countries close down, there's still a chance that it could work out for the Olympics, but we may very well need to see some progress in the next couple of weeks. In South Korea the curve could seem to be broken while it may be a week or so before we see Italy moving in a positive direction (hopefully). The other countries could follow if things go right. If that works out, there's still hope!
  12. L'Equipe is expecting UEFA to announce that UEFA EURO will take place in 2021 tuesday.
  13. And next to go is all the Belgian spring cycling before RVV.
  14. A new trend coming up?
  15. Seems very likely though the only I've seen about events is no events with more than 50 in Oslo.
  16. And Norway pretty much closing down as well.
  17. The main online shopping site has about 50.000 people queueing. Was around the shop half an hour ago. Luckily not so bad and only a few goods were looking low in stock, but other places it sounds worse. We should be having plenty of goods to make it work out for a long time, but some people will be meeting empty shelves from time to time, if people doesn't stop panic buying.
  18. And how do the Danes react to things closing down? Rushing to the stores making it look like never before to hoard toilet paper, yeast, frozen fries and whatever. Just few minutes after the prime minister made it very clear that there's plenty in the stores if people keep calm. And on top of that there are plenty of stories of people complaining about queues and lacking goods. I'm bloody disappointed and feel bad for the people working in the stores, those usually doing their shopping in the evening and whoever is going to get their grocery early tomorrow just to see that there's nothing left.
  19. The dramatic growth in Denmark continues with the amount up to 514 (and the first few critical) and now we're shutting down for 2 weeks. No events with more than 100 people indoor (right now they're just asking people to cancel, but it will most an order in a day or two (the government need support from the parliament to do so). The same with cultural institutions, bars and pretty much everything. As much people possible will have to work from home and people are asked to use their vacation days.
  20. First death in Sweden.
  21. It's absolutely not impossible, but way too early to call. But in general Japan is a pretty interesting case. The growth is way lower there than other countries (though the numbers may partially be due to a low number of tests). But even if Japan ends up beating it, people traveling to the Games would be a concern if it isn't eliminated more or less worldwide.
  22. Book: The Shining Poem (I really don't read much poetry): In Memoriam, [Ring out, wild bells] Favorite Myth: No idea But as a major part of my book collection are history books (both popular and more academic), I would also add favorite history book: Stalingrad (Anthony Beevor)
  23. Don't start comparing me with Uffe Elbæk! But I'm sure I will. May even make a top 12 at a later point if I get better time later to show you how it should be done
