The International Olympic Committee has announced that 31 athletes could be banned from the 2016 Rio Games for doping violations after 454 samples from Beijing were re-tested. The IOC says the 31 unnamed athletes come from 12 countries and six sports – with all those confirmed to have broken rules being banned from this summer’s Games.
