  1. Writing on forums has been on a downhill trend for years now. We shouldn't kid ourselves, we are in the minority here. Whenever i say to someone "forums", the response is "are you living 20 years in the past". Everything is facebook and instagram now (sadly).
  2. Another football contest geeezz. What happened to variety. After all that's why we don't have tennis contests anymore.
  3. I'm fairly excited. If i only had more time to watch/follow the Games, it could be higher. I think the interest will be better when things finally get rolling.
  4. When is the boxing draw? Thursday?
  5. Judoka Ivaylo Ivanov will be our flag bearer at the opening ceremony.

  8. Bulgaria qualified to 5 different World Cups before Stoichkov and only to 2 with him. Also we have 2 Olympic medals in football before him. Still the generations of the last 15 years are without a doubt the worst in the 100+ history of our football.
  9. From the names i see on the official site, we are mostly sending our "A" athletes in wrestling, boxing, judo and shooting. Nothing that surprising, with the omission of the Stoevi sisters in badminton, which will no longer represent Bulgaria in major competitions. But that was known for a month, so it's not new.
  10. Losing to Portugal and China and then beating France.. Logic not found
  11. Lucky first goal. Let's see how long, before they turn us around.
  12. Montenegro players with serbian background have been pressured not to play against Kosovo. At least, that is what i have seen floating around on the web.
  13. Our team is playing piss poor and frankly doesn't deserve at the moment to be in the League. But that travel of 20+ hours was absurd. This system is one epic fail.
  14. The weather is good, they could have finished the match today. Stupid organisers being stupid...

  16. The conspiracy people have risen to say, that it was all one big fix. Joshua nothing like his previous matches, didn't use much of his strong right hand, being too friendly with Ruiz after match. The mexican market is one of the biggest for boxing, with millions on hand, especially now with a heavyweight champion. If the big money match with Wilder wasn't going to happen, then why not take another root for the bucks. For me, it was nice to see that Joshua was finally humiliated.
  17. The final standings from me Federer91 1. Chad Haga (21) - 21 2. Pascal Ackermann (1) - 22 3. Fernando Gaviria (1) - 23 4. Caleb Ewan (2) - 25 5. Arnaud Demare (3) - 28 6. 18. Yeah, now it's going to be way harder to see who are battling for what position, what difference is needed etc. I know they probably want a head-2-head fight and not only single people climbing the hill, with the intervals between them, but it really gives away the fight to chase your opponent..
  19. I get the idea that they want all the big teams to play each other. Have more matches, no small groups, no playing the same teams 4 times like in the past. For me it's fairer this way. But then the no relegation rule is just pure BS. Just make the last 2 teams drop, no matter who they are. With 16 teams, the biggest nations will never be in last either way. Also fix the schedule, like i said in a couple of posts. If you want to make the teams play even more serious, give quotas to the Olympics from the VNL. Make a cumulative table of the 3 editions between OG and the top 2 teams earn a spot. There are ways to make this thing not look like a throw-away competition. PS. Good first game for us and a nice win. Didn't watch it, because it was in the middle of the night here, but from the clips i saw, we played with enjoyment. Great performance by Uchikov and with the return of Sokolov this summer, we can have options in attack.

  21. It's hard to get excited for a sport that practically has 3 events in the year and they are nowhere to be seen on the TV. No build-up, no promotion, don't know who are the best athletes, are they competing? The European Games are the perfect thing for such federations / sports to get some attention on them. I can't understand, why they don't want to make the event like a mini-Olympics..
