So pretty much everything is cancelled on Eurosport today, yet they prefer showing replays, instead of live luge...

First speed event (of not so many to begin with) of the season and of course it is cancelled.

So they removed the traditional 500 m events to bring in the more "hip and exciting" 200 m events, just to have the same removed after only 2-3 Olympics to bring in the next new "hip and exciting" flavor. And people wonder why ICF are a broke, bottom of the barrel federation in the Olympic family (and probably even outside of it).

This is like from breakfast to lunch period here.

Horrible, horrible news The game lost one of his two, or arguably, his favorite son. In my opinion, not only the best footballer ever, but one of the best athletes in any sport period. It's sad that his demons finally caught up to him. Can't even imagine what is happening in Argentina. Probably time has stopped there.

To be fair, de Sousa has been doing a great job in the floor and Euro events. But still, he is probably not in your top 10-15 favorites for a Major trophy. Let's see if this amazing performance can solidify him, as a top contender.
