    Absolutely moronic tactics from the coaches and Kiwan The whole first round did nothing, barely made any punches, let alone point ones and just received shots... Started the second more aggressively, as if the match NOW just begins, but that didn't help much, since Jones was still doing the more effective punches. You lose the second round and the match is OVER. I just "love" how our people completely lose their mind, when it comes to important bouts / races / situations etc..

    During our athletics broadcast, the commentators were mentioning how Coe was certain that cross running will be added to the Winter Olympics (maybe with cyclo-cross too). Stupid idea imo, unless they make them run through the snow. Just because those sports are held at that time of the year, doesn't make them winter sports. You could just as well held them in August and nothing will change.

    Dressel is shockingly bad. Already suspected on day 1 in the relay, that he is not in a good form. If they hadn't given him such a big lead, the Americans would have lost that relay with him on the final leg.

    I'm surprised people here haven't talked more about these weird repechage rounds they've come up with.. They should have at least tested them in another Championship to see how it goes and not just directly insert them at the Olympics. The people below the top athletes are already behind them in performance, without forcing them to have an extra run, while the big names further relax for the 1/2.

    Riner is just phenomenal It's unbelievable how France had to wait until him and the final individual event to get a Gold medal.

    Unlike the pool, the athletics track is supposedly one of the fastest for a big Championship. Add the new breakthrough technology in making the shoes and we can expect to get a completely (fair) outstanding performances here.
