  1. What a match that was between and Holland Carol & Barbara just edge it out 19-17 in the third. Fantastic match.
  2. Yes, i have Axelsen going over Shi Yuqi if they meet in the final. Even Antonsen could give him a run for his money in the 1/2. I think the Danes are a bit awkward opponents for him. Women's singles is of course far from certain, but if i had to choose which one China could win, i would pick the women.
  3. China have come much more prepared this time in badminton. After winning only 2 events in the past two Olympics, now they could get 3, even 4. Only the men's singles is out of their reach for me.
  4. It's been happening for a while, but South Korea in archery has become, what China is in diving or table tennis. If they lose an event it must be a blue moon or something else happening in the universe.
  5. Disappointed we couldn't even make 1 final here. Kostadinova didn't make it for only 2 shots and finishes 11th, but we know in shooting, that is a difference. The bad start cost her once again. On the other hand, Manu Bhaker
  6. Ah yes, the IOC and it's "Every person has the right to practice sports..." , unless those people are from countries X, Y, Z, then they don't have the right to practice sports
  7. I think the Tokyo schedule was more balanced hourly, than the Paris one. It was passable so far, but with the arrival of athletics tomorrow, things are getting messed up. Don't know who's bright idea was to have both swimming and athletics evening sessions at the same time.. Even during the day, there are specific hours, where things pile-up and then some with a lighter schedule.
  8. Lol, ok buddy, everyone is out to the get the Americans. The only hatred i have is for the mass hyperbolization, that occurs from people, whose knowledge is only from the past 10 years and don't care for any sporting history and everything present is the best ever, anytime, anywhere, in the Galaxy...
  9. Do you even understand english on what is written in the needless screenshots you post and the comments you make?
  10. And whether or not she is the GOAT is an opinion combining a wide range of characteristics, than X number of medals, won in dubious opposition and routines. You can go back to Twitter, where i'm sure the "objective" parade is floundering.
  11. The rather perfect Italian day is seemingly coming to an end. Beginning to drift away in the final now. Errigo needs to pull something.
  12. She can come back in 20 years and i'm sure the judges will still over score her when necessary..
  13. She is not the GOAT. But you can go join the American media parade.
  14. Well Andrade did what she could. Was underscored on the Bars, while Biles overscored. Will remain the more elegant and gracious gymnast in my eyes.
  15. And she gets a bit higher score, than what should have been. That was 13.300-13.400 at best.
  16. Lebrun and Calderano both on fire! Lebrun winning an epic after epic It seems unbelievable, that in the men's 1/2 we will have only 1 Asian player.
  17. For China the difference is that in Tokyo, weightlifting was at the start of the program, while now it's at the end. That at least 4 certain Golds there. The US on the other hand are indeed underperforming in swimming (and in some other sports i would reckon) when it comes to Golds. On the other hand, their athletics team is much stronger now, than in Tokyo, so the falling behind in swimming can be compensated in athletics. It will come down on how will they do in the smaller sports and if they can get some surprise winners. For France i'm still saying it's 20+ golds.
  18. For years and years people said that Cesar Cielo's WR just can't be broken, when swimming was having a dozen WR at every big event. All the gigantic Australian sprinters, that came in the past decade, Chalmers, McEvoy, Magnussen all came close, but didn't do it. Caeleb Dressel in it's heyday, when he was a machine didn't brake it. Until finally a boy from Romania barely, barely beat it after 13 years. And half hour ago it was 46.40 , i still have no words. It's like if they ran the 100m in 9.10-9.20
  19. 46.40 !! The commentator here is saying it's the greatest swim of the past 50 years. Absolutely astronomical time.
  20. Ok, time for Marchand to win the easier discipline
  21. France are having an exceptional Olympics so far. If they had gotten the expected 2-3 gold in judo in the passed weights, they would be leading the medal table.
