  1. Damn how fast people disappeared from here after the Olympics ended. I too had a post-Olympics fatigue for about 2-3 weeks, where i didn't want to or watched much sports, but now things are getting back to normal little by little. But things are really slow here.
  2. Medvedev cruising and completely invisible this whole tournament As for Sakkari, damn this girl is a fighter, not very typical for the WTA. Hope things turn out better for her, than Roland Garros. Deserves to be top 10 much more, than a couple current ones..
  3. Rogers was a walking disaster, a lady from the supermarket would have beaten her. It's becoming a pattern for players to play awfully against this girl. Bencic to finally bring a different level next time.
  4. Italy breaks the record with 36th consecutive undefeated match They should have won the match though, but just like us, very weak, when it came to the last shot. Berardi with a junior miss in the first half and Jorginho with yet another lame penalty. It's high time they chose someone else to take them. First place is definitely not guaranteed now.
  5. Feel sorry for Czechia, they deserved to win this match.
  6. Never watched Botic before as well, only knew him by the results scrolling And even that was rather recently, this guy seem to come out of nowhere. Guess he won't be just a typical journeyman and can achieve something more.
  7. Of course Belarus can beat Czechia, but we can't beat them
  8. This x a million !! They asphalted every damn turn, on every track, and there is no penalty anymore for going out of the track limits. It is so refreshing to finally have a real track, where the driving aspect is once again a valuable quality. Especially in Zandvoort, where it's tighter and the design is so fun and unique. The Porsche Supercup race was such a joy, though we know that F1 will have 15 safety cars and the proper race will be interrupted every 5 minutes.
  9. Yeah, what's up with that. Slovenia weren't in Tokyo, so it's not like they didn't care here. Good for them, that groups are useless here. But If Czechia beat them so smoothly, i'm afraid of our match with them tomorrow.
  10. Italia are keeping their undefeated streak alive (so far ) But the 13 straight wins in Qualification matches is in jeopardy.
  11. Euro Champs with near perfect line-up and comfortably going for the record-tying 35th consecutive match without a loss. Truth be told, they could have done it with their D team against us
  12. LOL did Russia play with only one arm
  13. Bosnia takes the lead against France and Slovensko is leading Slovenija Interesting start to this cycle of Q matches.
  14. Not meaning to offend anyone, but EST-LAT and FIN-MAC isn't the most glamorous opening you could (or want) to have for your most prized tournament (cough CEV cough). Football can pull off this system, but volleyball.... not so much.
  15. Win or lose tomorrow, i wish these boys can have a successful transition to the men's game down the line. They have the talent and apparently they have a great thought process on the different game situations but taking the step out of the junior world is very difficult. And this is a thing, that has always been a problem for us, not only in volleyball, but in all sports.
  16. Lightning strikes twice

  18. Damn, that was one hell of a match today between and Have no idea how we have won this match These are usually the situations where we buckle under pressure. Too bad the 1/2 is tomorrow, as the boys will be heavily tired. Nevertheless, first top 4 at a U19 Worlds since 1989
  19. Rather surprising, comfortable win for Simona. Very solid serve, good movement, no shades of an injury. Of course given this is the US Open, she could very well flop in the next match. Pity for Giorgi for the second set fight back, only to return to her career defining brainless bashing in the tiebreak. And i thought after Canada, she had turned a new chapter in her play.
  20. Halep - Giorgi is the perfect start of a GS imo
  21. Yes, because the constant adding of events and athletes has made it impossible to host only in a classical winter resort. You can't have only Cortina d'Ampezzo and it's nearby towns hosting, you have to have half of Northern Italy in there. This is why no one wants to host anymore, or if they do, they want it spread in 15 other places across the whole country.
  22. Just like there is a world of difference between the resorts hosting the WOG and the megapolises hosting the SOG.
  23. Is it just me, or does the Home page still have bugs. Like it's not updated instantly. I posted my comments an hour ago and left the forum. Now i entered the home page and they are shown as the latest ones and from 5 minutes ago Same with notifications, if someone has quoted me, i won't see them until i shuffle a few pages and it get's updated.
  24. You would think F1 can't get any more stupider and then there is today.
