  1. ugh.... well, his return on court for RG is very questionable... he better prepare himself for grass season then...
  2. There will be ITF $25k tournament in Pelham next week, and currently qualifications are underway.... Quirky information I read about one pair in the first qualifying round, Gail Falkenberg and Rosalyn Small... Gail Falkenberg Age: 69 Match record (since comeback in 2011): 0-32 Set record: 0-64 Game record: 29-384 Rosalyn Small Age: 22 Match record: 0-25 Set record: 0-50 Game record: 9-297 And the big winner of this one is granny Gail who won 6-0 6-1!!! http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/tournaments/women's-tournament/info.aspx?tournamentid=1100036943
  3. What's up with him actually? What kind of injury he is suffering from, apart the brain one?
  4. Yes, but also there will be some withdrawals for sure...
  5. And this is very important for Monaco, because rank list published on Monday will be used for cut off for Roland Garros main draw entry list. And this is the first time since 2009 that two Argentine players win titles in the same week. Last time Del Potro won in Auckland and Nalbandian in Sydney
  6. New Zealand Entry Surf City - Beat The Summer Heat Album: Jekyll Island Released: March 23rd, 2015
  7. Poor Giorgi, third final in a row and now title... But this time she really had quality opponent. And Stephens! She either wins title or losses opening match of a tournament! Just too bad she lost matches in Melbourne, Indian Wells and Miami. First title on clay and it is Premier one. Four titles in last eight months. Her talent and athleticism very never indisputable. Mentality might failed her at aforementioned tournaments but her biggest issue is lack of motivation and laziness. Time to sort the things out. Well done And what a bizarre third set from Monaco and Sock... :o Borna disappointed...
  8. Róisín Murphy - You Know Me Better Violent Femmes - Gone Daddy Gone
  9. At least. All the turbo folk fuzz and Grand started in the 1990s. Not sure about you but I also remember City Records in the early 2000s. My friend was listening their music. Even they were giving me headaches. I guess you can remember some bands like Funky G
  10. Long rally at the end and with new error Fritz losses game and match. Nishioka vs Kozlov next semifinal. Japanese needs a win to secure top 100 position on Monday! He played very well in Miami, seems like he is carrying on the same form in Le Gosier. Kozlov final back on track Denis Shapovalov is playing his second ITF final this year, as a qualifier. Sangren will be the opponent.
  11. Watching Jaziri-Fritz.... Fritz won first set in tie break, despite winning only 4 points on return!!! Crazy. Malek took MTO in second and broke Taylor's momentum. Third set is going to have nail biting end...
  12. Camila is such... crazy player. She definitely can beat Dominika. "Only" has to find own zone and place the ball inside the court
  13. Music started to downgrade during 1990s and worsened during 2000s. Ex-Yu pop-rock scene was amazing! I reckon, it is the same case worldwide. Even in NZ, music peaked during late 1970s and in 1980s. Two words - Flying Nun Or at least people with similar taste would say so. I'd say, 60s and end of 70s-first half of 80s are definitely two peaks. Over the last few year I've been listening to a very few artists/song from new millennium.
  14. And on paper, Cibulkova should be the toughest opponent she faced in Katowice so far...
  15. Vesnina played amazing tennis all week! Better she than Errani as far as I am concerned But would like to see Stephens winning the title. That girl does have talent and great athleticism but her lack of motivation and laziness are scary sometimes.
  16. Zverev vs Rublev in Monte-Carlo first round!
  17. Which team sport Brazil will miss? Nevermind, just saw you had edited the post
  18. Lucas Pouille, Fernando Verdasco, Marco Cecchinato and Andrey Rublev received Monte-Carlo main draw wildcards.
  19. Do you think this one deserves disqualification? In my opinion this didn't look intentionally at all. It is correct that players must calm down, but this looks like an overreaction from Junaid or Skupski, whoever that was... Yes, Kowalczyk and Majchrowicz were disqualified because of the headshot.
  20. Well, drama and matches will be shorter in Rio. There will be played tie-break in every set (if needed) so the matches like Federer-Del Potro in London will be past Men's singles final remains best of five match. Thirdset in mixed doubles will be played as match tie break. http://www.itftennis.com/media/226644/226644.pdf Epic!
  21. The Monochrome Set - Flesh, Trash, Heat
  22. Daria Gavrilova will make her Fed Cup debut for Australia in upcoming World Group Play-Off tie against the United States in Brisbane. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-04-06/daria-gavrilova-named-in-australia-fed-cup-squad/7303538
  23. Tiafoe lost in two sets... I definitely expected a win here... Now comes American green clay challengers, Tiafoe has a lot of points to defend.
  24. Tommy Paul is still low ranked, but truth to be talked, he is very talented and I expected him to put up a good fight and even win. Certainly, I did not expect such scoreline, which suggests comfortable win for Paul (born in 1997). Tommy Paul is current Roland Garros junior champion. So, in this case, ranking means nothing. This is also first ATP main draw win for Paul. And what is also exciting for me - he is playing Hyeon Chung in second round! I hope this one will be streamed, I have to watch it. Early prediction - Paul to win that one too. Chung is not good claycourter at the moment.
