God bless the referees for their help, though they are a bit late I will definitely watch this match since i haven't see it (our tv didn't show) But didn't referee give 30 seconds to Yazdani and the referee's whistle meant the end of that 30 second rather than of the 1st period?

I didn't see that match, but i am sorry if there was poor decision of the referee in this match . As far as I know Iranian guy only scored 1 point due and it was warning to Gazyumov, so i will doubt your words regarding the gold medal in the pocket By the way, i must say we are very bad owners of the UWW since we even don't have gold medal in men wrestling so far

He has quite strong Armenian wrestler (former world champion) in the 1/8 then in semifinal he can meet the winner of Gadziyev (Poland) vs Toghrul (Azerbaijan, Chamizo beat him in the semifinal of last WC).So, yes, hard draw. But, of course, i hope he wont be Olympic champion, since we have our own sportsmen in this category

That was indeed devastating for all Maria's fans She was better in final and should have won the gold medal. Despite of the fact that she is Ukranian, she is the number 1 female athlete here in our country. Everybody love her, even conservative people who think that wrestling is not for women. She is like a celebrity here, probably the main person who encourage our young girls to choose wrestling. I hope next time Maria will get her gold medal.
