  1. Some sources estimate that there are probably 100k cases already.
  2. And to be fair, I sooner saw a live event from Montana than I did from Wisonsin.
  3. IBSF is missing from the title. Of course we got confused.
  4. Have you forgot that India won a team sprint gold and a keirin bronze at the last year's junior WCh?
  5. This weekend in Pyeongchang he finished 20th, and that's a track on which he has more experience than most... In fact, he only finished ahead of 46-year old Luxembourgian, 50-year old Kiwi and some random South African golfer. He is not competitive at all. He finished dead last at the Olympics, and was losing 3+ seconds on every single run.
  6. Horrific crash for the Chinese doubles team. One of the worst luge crashes I've seen. Bottom man was knocked unconscious.
  7. Wait a minute... Tennis ITF Australian Open? ITF? Is that even a thing?
  8. Loch is once again clearly trying to cool his runners before getting off the sled...
  9. So... Mandziy is 2nd, Sochowicz 3rd, Cretu 5th, Gulfer 7th, Felderer 8th after the first run. Aside from Lillehammer and North America, all other races from this luge season have been as comical as this.
  10. Mandziy still leads after starting first. Week after week, it seems like these Ukrainian athletes have zero control over their own destiny.
  11. Track looks like a water slide today though.
  12. Enjoying his retirement like most other 69-year olds...? He only commented in his own backyard (Lake Placid) this season.
  13. Oberhof Don't care about the German domination. If I ever visit WC luge competition - it shall be Oberhof.
  14. He'd probably like to think so, yes. Nevertheless, he qualified only thanks to the continental places, which were rather a strange provision for a Winter sport.
  15. Btw, how often do you get to see something live from Wisconsin?
  16. Follow Coronavirus https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6
  17. You are forgetting Heiden and other guys from the pre-magic era.
  18. It's kind of sad that USA can't really find male distance racers even for this kind of an event.
  19. True, but it's easy to forget that Olympics have never been about "best x athletes". Universality is equally important, and that mostly means continental representation at any cost.
  20. And that person is not even on Totallympics... Or is it?
  21. Yeah, as the time goes by, it more and more looks as though the bronze in men's eights from Sydney 2000 has been our biggest pound-for-pound Olympic success.
