    13/19 quota places are available to someone like Autenrieth. That's quite impressive, given the lack of depth 470 classes have. So, just maybe, Autenrieth should worry about his own qualification rather than expect to gain reallocation...

    Such films already exist (check Taxi Driver and The King of Comedy, both directed by Scorsese). I believe the idea behind Joker was to turn those classics into some origin story for Joker. But it very much failed, comicbook fans didn't like it (from what I heard) and moviesgoers didn't like it either (since it lacked originality and subtletly that made the likes of Taxi Driver great; Joker just copied a lot of scenes and had everything spelled out).

    Also, when watching Marriage Story, I couldn't get away from its number of similarities to Kramer v Kramer (which surprisingly won several Oscars including Best Picture). I thought it couldn't possibly be any more Oscar-baity - but then I saw Little Women...

    My preferential rankings for Best Picture is as follows: 1. 1917, 2. Parasite, 3. OUATIH, 4. Ford v Ferrari, 5. The Irishman, 6. Marriage Story, 7. Jojo Rabbit, 8. Little Women, 9. Joker Here's hoping Ford v Ferrari wins best editing or best sound mixing (or both).

    I can so relate to this. Though I did appreciate the second part of the film, which was very non-Scorsese for mobster films.
