  1. Apparently Coronavirus has been reported on Canary islands. This will stop testers from coming!
  2. First (rumored) Corona cases in Croatia (first Osijek, now Split).
  3. Hey, Brady apparently graduated the year I was born. It's a feel-good piece of trivia, so he can stay active as long as he pleases.
  4. That was Tom Brady? He looked young(er).
  5. I am joining for my yearly Super Bowl 1st quarter.
  6. Apparently the team pursuit can be held with 3 (!) entries, while 5000/10000 m can't be held at all.
  7. Yes, they will proud to have made the highlight reel for the next couple of seasons.
  8. I have completed the list of documentary feature nominees. My ranking is as follows: 1. Honeyland, 2. For Sama, 3. American Factory, 4. The Cave, 5. The Edge of Democracy. Hope Honeyland wins (I felt its subject truly matters). For Sama would be fine too, even though Syria has left the public eye for a while now so I doubt it stands a chance. American Factory will probably win (because Obama...). It was at least better than I expected. The Cave is inferior to For Sama and somewhat redundant, while The Edge of Democracy is messy.
  9. Yes, Mozambique would be a good exmple of this. They qualified a C2 boat in 2016, but used the opportunity to also race in the C1 200 and C1 1000 events. You can enter as many events as you please with already qualified athletes.
  10. Pita will probably have to beat and whoever loses on the 1000m ( or ). It basically couldn't be easier, but I doubt he stands a chance.
  11. Yes, but only if the athlete competing in the K1 events is also a part of the K2 boat. Two K1 spots will be redistributed between . It's essentially already confirmed, and can only change if NZ capsizes in K2 or if some entries drop out.
  12. Australia is already listed as uneligible for all men's kayak events. And with Tonga competing too, there are no more concerns. I do believe however that these lists provided by ICF are used to determine whether an event is eligible or not. I'd be surprised if the status can change after the event if already underway.
  13. Thanks. For whatever reason he is listed under New South Wales.
  14. Entries for the Oceanian qualifier. Looks like Cook Islands and Samoa will compete in the men's K2 1000m only to allow New Zealand to qualify. This will open up places for island nations in K1 events, as New Zealand can't qualify more than two athletes. K1 events will have (and no Pita). Also, Samoa will conveniently compete in the women's C2 500m, despite having no chance whatsoever. I wonder if they will be getting any compensation for such futile effort... Island nations are also guaranteed to qualify in the women's K1 200 m.
  15. Great Britain is however out of individual events too at the moment. They lose individual sprint spot to South Africa (continental representation), while in keirin they are some 500 pts behind the last quota.
  16. Unless I got something wrong, it looks like Great Britain provisionally has nobody qualified across all women's sprint events (team sprint, sprint and keirin). And there is no chance of climbing ranks in the team sprint and keirin.
  17. Poland beats Kazakhstan by 28 seconds.
  18. ICF has always been one of the least competent federations. So it was really a nice surprise to see them publish this document, which clearly states that only the quota in men's C1 will be awarded.
