  1. On the plus side, there is always Pizza Hut. Or the Olive Garden if you get homesick.
  2. Pretty weird to make a move mid season. I'm sure he will not be there for long though.
  3. Starts calls for a false start after 50 m completed. Kok and Leerdam shoud be mad.
  4. Ekensskar has a curious figure for a speed skater... 5000 m should be interesting.
  5. Off the top of my head, I can tell you that Halsall, Colliander and Baarup are, so Yom-Tov has no worries there. But here is a full list of FEI officials, including the dressage judges.
  6. First results from Exloo are already in. And just like that the first provisional leader of the rankings is, Jazmin Yom-Tov (Hexagon's Grandville) - 68.022% - 180 points
  7. Voste disqualified for a false start in the 500 m opener... Way to bomb out of the weekend.
  8. There is lots of potential in the NA though. Mid-week races in the Sunshine would be prime time in Europe, for instance...
  9. I have never seen snow conditions as bad as today in Garmisch. That's saying a lot.
  10. One wonders why don't they just hold more races in North America... This is pathetic and really just unsustainable at this point.
  11. Somehow the race will go forward tomorrow as planned. Temperatures haven't gone below freezing for days now. Even now in the late evening it's still +6 degrees at the top!
  12. Suffice to say things are running out of hand in China again and the numbers are getting doctored with so far unclear consequences...
  13. I believe they announced earlier that all 4 events will be a part of the relay. I always found them rather dull, but with 4 legs it will become even more predictable, and frankly, unwatchable.
  14. In all fairness, if Team Sweden in jumping was Top 6 here, then there should have been only 5 nominees.
  15. Happy New Year! And it's one for the books for us here. With this day we both welcome Euro as our new currency and we enter the Schengen zone of free passage. Crazy.

  17. All awards ended up in Argentina. Needless to say they never before awarded all three to the same nation.
  18. Meanwhile in Croatia... A literal replay of the 2018 homecoming. Only this time in the nighttime and with temperatures around 35° lower...
