    If Casas' reaction after securing his spot is anything to go by those past misses must have hurt a lot but you'd have never known because he always seemed so indifferent. Lesson to not judge a book by its cover I guess.

    Only Petric and Neill have the OQT for the 200IM but don't know if Neill's body will allow him to swim IM.

    Iona Anderson is selected for the individual 100 back (came third at trials so takes Mollie's spot). Jenna Strauch will be in the 200 breast (has OQT from last year).

    It's not cross contamination. The drugs are given to livestock to promote growth and remain in the meat.

    Erriyon Knighton tested positive to trenbolone but has been given no sanction because it was supposedly caused by contaminated meat. https://www.bbc.com/sport/articles/c9990z2zrqlo This is not long after NY Times did a hit piece against Chinese athletes that weren't sanctioned in 2016-2017 for clenbuterol also supposedly because of contaminated meat.

    Thought the US women would be quicker in the 100 free tbh.

    Only way Australia can win is if other countries step up and block the US in a lot of events and Australia takes all their chances which seems unlikely so I voted USA.

    But it doesn't clash with any of her events so it'd be strange for her to just give up a relay medal opportunity without good reason.

    Revealed during trials that her preparation has been undermined by shoulder pain. I don't think the problem has gone away so I wouldn't expect too much improvement from her.

    Wasick has a good chance to medal just not gold. Chance improves even more if Douglass doesn't do the 50 free.
