    I'm no expert but I think you understand it well (bold). Personally I see no reason why relay only athletes shouldn't be allowed to compete individually if they have an OCT.

    There was some discussion about this over at SwimSwam around the time of Canadian trials and apparently you can't use an OCT if you're entered as relay only.

    So I guess Kayla Sanchez changed nationalities so she can not bother putting in the hard work and still go to the Olympics via universality places. Not a great look when she's perfectly capable of achieving the qualifying times.

    No doubt Coleman will be selected for the relay. Can't say I'm disappointed to see him miss an individual spot.

    Not yet. Anderson could be relay only I guess but I think if MOC didn't pull out of the 100 back they'd just use Barclay for medley relay heats and not add Anderson to the team.

    She just can't cope with such a large program anymore so gets slower as the meet progresses. At least in Paris she won't be doing the 200 free so the 3x200 rounds will be replaced by just one 200 in the relay.

    If Casas' reaction after securing his spot is anything to go by those past misses must have hurt a lot but you'd have never known because he always seemed so indifferent. Lesson to not judge a book by its cover I guess.
