    Tbh the Belgium team that showed up is one that is playing far above their world ranking. But so is Canada

    i knew this game would be a challenge but this is a bit painful atm.

    Either Canada or Belgium is going to have to lose to each other. I guess if Argentina beats Belgium and Belgium beats Canada they would both have two losses.

    I wonder if they intentionally switched up the team to provide some experience to others.

    I feel like she has a decent shot at being in the 4x100m relay based off her split in the 4x100m medley at this year's World's it was comporable to Rebecca Smith's time from Tokyo 2020 and at this point I'm not sure we have a 4th who can go under 54 seconds although Smith, Harvey and maybe even Jansen could do so.

    I'm feeling not bad about a 2-0 lead going into game 2. I still am a bit worried overall.

    With Canada being the 11th ranked team we’d have a decent shot of qualifying through the world ranking? I don’t know how much movement can happen during the season.

    I’m not giving up on Canada’s chances here because nothing in this tournament has gone according to script so far 😂

    And there's two PanAm quotas so she just needs to end up on the other side of the bracket I think Canada has a good shot of a decent sized womens team for Wrestling at the qualifier despite not qualifying anyone here.

    I can’t say I was expecting Canada to qualify here so any result is a nice surprise.

    I knew we wouldn’t do well but this is even worse than I expected.

    The mens 4x100relay captured the bronze, 16 year old Antoine Sauve split a 48.73...this bodes well.

    I fully believed that Canada would beat Spain today, I did not expect all the other Americas teams to lose today and Canada clinching the spot. Exciting stuff!

    The 4x400m relay has finished 4th so many times that there has to be something big coming for them in Paris.

    I literally just watched the last lap and it looked like he got boxed in when he was trying to make a move.

    With a total 3 spots up for grabs at the Pan Am Games and 2024 Championship of the Americas fingers crossed she can get Canada an Olympic berth.

    I feel this is the end of the road for this cycle but the Canadian men's team is beginning to rebuild after a rough couple of years.
