  1. Another heart-warming picture of Simona and her husband.
  2. Not many people here have a clue what this medal truly means. Basically, we had a huge sports funding reformation that screwed over a lot of disciplines and cycling-track is one of the biggest casualties. Simona's husband (he is also her personal trainer and he also trains 3 of the other 4 participants here) was fired from his job at the Olympic center right before the New Year as well as cycling losing 170000 Euros in 2018 budget. Since they had to take care of their son, they had plans to leave Lithuania, because her husband got job offers abroad. Perhaps this medal can still save the day.
  3. This is also only her second medal in Keirin out of everything that she's won.
  4. OMG YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 13th World Championships medal for Simona Krupeckaitė adds a bronze in Keirin to her collection.
  5. Simona Krupeckaitė in Keirin final, perhaps she can do it?
  6. Perhaps it's for the better, because I would have gone mad whilst trying to decide if I want "Statements" or "Amar Pelos Dois" to win
  7. I still can't forgive Sweden for robbing Loreen's "Statements" Honestly, it was probably my top 3 favourite Eurovision song of all time and it wasn't even in Eurovision. I'd go as far as saying it was many times better than "Euphoria".
  8. Too bad that Linas Banys is very out of shape for these championships. He managed a 23rd place with 1 miss though and seeing two decent performances from Romanov and 1 decent performance from Jesipionok, this might be one of the better junior championships for us in recent years.
  9. As much as I don't usually go for performances like that, I'd say that "Dance You Off" is the clear leader.
  10. Can I just say that I find our national selection stronger this year than Melodifestivalen? Sure, we don't have that many special effects, but I love a handful of our songs (some of which are already eliminated) whilst Melodifestivalen pretty much has 1 good one (that's probably winning) and a few very mediocre ones.
  11. This is going to be one hell of a season for Agnė, because she's already running very close to her outdoor PB, I think that Lithuanian 400m. record, that's 34 years old is in serious danger this summer.
  12. Well, that's a pretty great 7th place for Agnė Šerkšnienė and the indoor national record broken twice in one day
  13. Simona Krupeckaitė is on the start list for the 500m. time trial. That's the first time in I don't know how many years when she's starting in something that is not a sprint or keirin.
  14. Well, at least they're naming a horse Sushi and not a dolphin
  15. Oh, I saw in our media that Ieva Serapinaitė is leading after two events too bad that she's a pretty terrible runner.
  16. I don't know, perhaps I'm not finding what I have to find, because I only see swimming results
  17. Where can one follow the fencing results? I've only found the swimming times.
  18. That's a beautiful run by Agnė and a new NR for indoor 400m.
  19. Yeahhhhhh, I'm sorry, but in order to be successful in this competition in the future, I have to stop nominating songs that you'd like
  20. Well, I think I might steal something from our Eurovision selection this year, but that person still has decent chances to make it to Eurovision, so you can never know So, whilst I'm doing my research, I have a plan B set in motion.
  21. Also, don't start to worry about me, because I probably won't announce our song this year earlier than the 12th of March
  22. Sad that Airinė Palšytė missed this. Even with her problems, she would have had a chance at a medal at this rate
  23. Well, Simona really didn't do herself a favour with that 8th qualification time and now she's left sharing 5-8th position. Well, I know I shouldn't count her out, but I believe that Sprint was a much better chance for her as her Keirin results have not been that convincing as of late.
