  1. Coz we have to admit, those "dubious human rights issues countries" are the ones more eager to and able to afford it.
  2. Up to this point, I'm with you lol.
  3. Actually yes, there is higher chance for them to reply if you send the same stuff twice
  4. Find it by yourself if you want to know, I believe you are smart enough to connect the dots I am not going there anymore except for 'Ceremonies on UTube' thread
  5. I bet he's the random author who often comments on ITG. He's the reason I leave that place lol
  6. Holy crap, the guy who ordered this must be bribing their way to finish primary school.
  7. Isn't it easier to manage the spread from guards than the prisoners? It is understandable to release some inmates if there is an outbreak in the prison itself, though. But perhaps the government can think with smarter ways, such as giving them house arrest.. They claimed they released the not dangerous ones including those who are jailed from small crimes, elder inmates, woman and youth inmates. But some of them turning back to crime, like one of the released "youth inmates" robbed again some worker. Or one in Manado who attempted break into 2 houses in a day not long after he was released. Who's actually benefiting from this?
  8. We have done it, to ease the overcapacity prisons. Unsurprisingly theft cases rise... I am lost of words on that, I mean those people in prisons are just like in semi-isolation from outside world and now you release them like Olympic doves.
  9. Minor issues after I updated Safari (on Mac): the bell button doesn't show the red circle with number of notification. The black box notification at the bottom still shows, though.
  10. That's why everyone must be united with the one true faith of Indomie
  11. Nah people in UK also dumb, they burn 5G towers to prevent COVID-19
  12. Yeah we have too many Games now
  13. Bangkok-Chonburi AIMAG 2021 host agreement signing ceremony Since OCA is still tight-lipped on Asian Winter Games, it looks like we can expect there won't be AWG in super congested 2021
  14. Come to think about it, I think I've never seen one for Asian Games 2018. I remembered they have a participation medal at the test event, though. There's also a somewhat rare souvenir coin presented to VIP guests, which price is about $30 - $40 in online marketplace.
  15. Damn, people are so dumb.
  16. Well yeah not kind of flogging for being homosexual, gambling, blasphemy, caught together with opposite sex whom you're not married to, or other "questionable" offenses. And with reasonable number of strokes, too.
  17. I completely disagree with cutting off limbs or stoning but I still support flogging/caning as a punishment. Rather than jailing for instance, vandals, a few strokes should teach a good lesson.
  18. You're late to the party But no, he's not dead until Ri Chun Hee announced it or Rodong Sinmun put it on the headline.
  19. Ugh, I'm still furious the Polish entry did not qualify and we have this instead
  20. But I think not that many games build venues in the middle of forest The 2008 edition is the "best" You don't know how it works over here To bid for an edition, you don't have to create a good venue planning or really show the existing venues. You need to tour the country, visit the Sports Committee Head of every province, convince them to vote for you (in exchange for "something" ofc).
  21. Yes for the core sports like football, badminton, and volleyball. Opening ceremony also attracts a big crowd. Other events you are most likely to see students brought out from their schools to fill the seats. It's more a political achievements for governors rather than an athlete development event nowadays. A vicious cycle: Win a bid > Build a sport complex far from the actual city > Hold the Games > Venues abandoned > Governor or his staff arrested for bidding bribe/corruption on venues
  22. Indonesian National Games postponed to October 2021
  23. Even so, I think politics will play its part again and MBS can use the Games as the main showcase for the Saudi 2030 Vision. If they win, I somehow feel that something will happen and we will have a replacement for the host
  24. I think I should be thankful that I "only" have to read the compulsory book and write a summary with some personal opinions every 2-3 chapters
