  1. Romania was simply a much better team than us today and I honestly lost all my faith in our qualification from the GS. Uninspired, weak performance with many errors.
  2. Yeah, they can and probably will. I was just talking about the 10 "default" K4 quotas.
  3. Yeah, they definitely have a chance here to qualify, but they have to fight for it, because ICF made the qualification incredibly hard for European K4 boats.
  4. In Women's K4 Hungary, Belarus, New Zealand, Poland, Ukraine, Russia should easily qualify, and France, Australia, and Germany will fight for the last 2 slots. I honestly wouldn't be that surprised if Germany will the one to not make it. Men's K4 will be a clusterfuck. Germany and Slovakia are the safest and will fight for the gold, but after that... oh boy. Based on the SF times Portugal and France are the weakest, but it will be really close. Edit: Because of the reallocation it can also matter who finishes in the 8th place in Men's K4.
  5. Not yet. They have to be in the Top8 in women's K4 and in the Top7 in men's K4.
  6. Canada and Australia won quotas in Men's K4. Only 7 A finalists will win quotas in Men's K4, because all 9 boats are European.
  7. Finalists Women's K1 500m - Women's C2 500m - Men's K2 1000m - Men's C1 1000m - Men's C1 200m - Women's C2 200m - Men's K2 200m - Men's C4 500m -
  8. 3 non-European boats has to qualify. So 1 Asian and 1 American boat will win quotas in the B final.
  9. One European boat or Australia won't win a quota in the women's K4 A final.
  10. Kopasz Bálint kvótát szerzett K1 1000m-en kajak-kenuban.
  11. @JoshMartini007 Do you know how the host quota works? Is it just a guaranteed quota in the discipline that gets reallocated if Japan wins a quota in that discipline (like 4 years ago), or is it a guaranteed +1 athlete quota for Japan in K1 even if they win 4 athlete quotas in K4?
  12. There are two steps in the reallocation. First step: Second step:
  13. Poland will only get 2 more athlete quotas with Women's K4, not 4, because two of their athletes already got quotas in K2. It's hard to say who will get the quotas with the "doubling-up" reallocation.
  14. Yeah, we aren't dominating women's kayak anymore. It will be Hungary vs. New Zealand vs. Belarus in Tokyo, Germany seems weaker then ever.
  15. I just realized something. If Carrington finishes in the Top5 in K1 500m (which is likely), Lucz will get a quota in K1 200m with the reallocation.
  16. lol, I haven't watched volley since the last SOG, so I was very confused when there weren't tech time-outs in Budapest.
  17. btw, will Japan's host quota be reallocated in Men's K1 1000m if the get a quota in K4? I think last time that was the case with Brazil, but the current document says... So it doesn't specify if obtaining the quota means that they get at least one quota in Men's kayak or that they get one in Men's K1 1000m.
  18. Let's see how the K4 can go, because those two are the most important events at this WCh. Just by looking at the times in the heats... Men's SF1 - || SF2 - || SF3 - || Australia only needs to reach the B final to get the Oceanian quota, same goes for Canada with the American quota if Argentina won't be in the Top18. With this lineup above one European boat wouldn't get a quota in the A final, and Japan would get the Asian quota. The Asian quota is clearly between Japan and China. Women's Already in the final - SF1 - || SF2 - || So this would mean that the winner of the B final also gets a quota. China, Canada and New Zealand are likely taking the continental quotas. Edit: But obviously these races will be incredibly close. Specially the men's SF1 and SF2 races.
  19. I am already anxious about the Men's K4 SF. Hungary, Slovakia, and Czech Republic should qualify from the third SF, but I would never underestimate Serbia in any sport.
  20. Men's C1 500m - 1. 2. 3. Men's K2 500m - 1. 2. 3. Women's K2 500m - 1. 2. 3. Athlete quotas after 6 events 5 quotas 4 quotas 3 quotas 2 quotas 1 quota
  21. Men's C2 1000m - 1. 2. 3. Men's K1 1000m - 1. 2. 3. Women's K1 1000m - 1. 2. 3. Athlete quotas after 5 events 4 quotas 3 quotas 2 quotas 1 quota
  22. 22 years old world champion in K1 1000m. Kopasz is truly our strongest young talent in the whole Hungarian team.
  23. Damn, not even medal for Germany in C2 1000m. 3 non-European nations on the podium.
