    I notice on the FIS site that there are now training runs scheduled for Thu & Fri, so I guess rescheduling.

    Story I’ve heard on a British board is that Sam Atkin was only in the race as a pacemaker for 5000m, but once he’d done his job he didn’t step off, slotted into the pack and got round in a QT! Also in the UK all-time top 10.

    Thought it was a bit outrageous that there were three Russian judges at a home World Cup event but it turns out that there is only so much judges can do when your best guy is jumping 102 metres. Another nightmare day for Severin Freund.

    When I first started watching biathlon Sweden did not even field a women’s relay team. Sanfilippo is the unlucky Italian girl who is going to take them from third to eighth. Norway three minutes twenty-five down.
