  1. A lot of new names in the US team, especially on the men’s side. I would be surprised if anyone other than Bowe or Mantia would win a medal this season, apart maybe from the mass start lottery.

  20. Let's see how this pans out. A few years ago, we said that Croatia would have a great Fed Cup team with big talents Vekic and Konjuh shooting up through the rankings. Vekic is now coming through again with a career high ranking of 37, though the expectations were much bigger for her, and Konjuh is not inside the top 400 right now. They're still young though, but Osaka for example is exactly the same age as Konjuh, and Ostapenko and Sabalenka are from the same generation outperforming these two at the moment. Hope that for Ukraine the situation will be different.
