Complimenti a Quadarella per aver stabilito il record europeo, ma purtroppo la canadese ha scelto proprio questa distanza e non ha avuto alcuna possibilità di salire sul podio. Temo che ci ritroveremo con solo sei medaglie nel nuoto. Pilato, nella sua forma solida, dovrebbe essere una medaglia sicura qui, ma non lo è, e sta perdendo significativamente nella seconda metà della distanza. Non credo che la staffetta mista 4x100 ha qualche possibilita con concorrenza cosi forte (abbiamo buco nel delfino + la forma di Martinenghi dopo la malattia è un mistero).

Ceccon è un caso leggermente diverso: è troppo sicuro di sé e un po' pigro. Pilato è completamente instabile emozionale. Tuttavia, Ceccon mantiene un alto livello di stabilità e sale regolarmente sul podio nei grandi eventi, mentre Pilato vive momenti drammatici ogni anno. Entrambi non stanno esprimendo al 100% il loro potenziale, anche se ovviamente Ceccon ha ottenuto molto di più nella sua carriera.
