  2. Watched the entire match, it was so close. My condolences, @hckošice.
  3. Brazil and USA certainly a step below. Slovenia... I don't think they are clutch in big games but with such strong record in VNL I can't write them off. Germany was great in the OQT but winning a medal with such mid team and an ancient star would be asking too much.
  4. The only teams that can realistically win a medal are . Maybe with a lot of luck. I don't think & have enough.

  6. Men's Dark horse: Women's Dark horse: Order is just alphabetic, I don't have it very clear in either gender. Disclaimer: "Dark horse" doesn't mean 4th favorite.
  7. ugh, so same as usual. I dream of v final but it looks a bit more unlikely now.
  8. Is the knockout bracket fixed or it'll be decided with combined standings like in FQTs?
  9. We don't have more medal chances, mutatis mutandis it's the same chances. And only because we're assuming the football team will be better, which is to be seen. 0 boxers and 1 swimmer yet most things are going well apparently. Ok guys.
  10. It was a disastrous qualification cycle. Lowest number of athletes since 1992. But totally expected due to economic circumstances. It's not just that sport is a non priority for the government right now, they're acting that it doesn't exist basically. -Failed to qualify in Basketball for the 1st time since 2000. -Failed in beach Volleyball for the 1st time since 2008. -Failed to qualify in Boxing for the 1st time since 1908 (!).
  11. If their objective is just advancing, then this game doesn't matter. They need a draw with Romania for that. If they want to top the group, then no Belgium win is ideal.
  12. AIN status is unfair because, for me, it's gotta be either complete ban or full participation. No ridiculous "neutrality", no social media police, IOC either goes fully political or ignores everything keeping politics out of sport. They're currently trying to please both sides but end up displeasing everyone. Same applies to Israel case.
  13. Serbia will totally win that set just so we get big Cuba v Leon drama.
  14. Except for one loss against Kenya in Dubai, China has beaten all these teams by a distance of at least 2 tries in every match they played this year. So yeah, they'll absolutely qualify.
  15. After watching Canada I can safely say Peru is so dead in this group. I still see Chile advancing but we'll see in that last game.
  16. Serbia won 3-2 Cuba throwing olympic qualification again.
  17. Rodrigo Isgró got a 5 match suspension from World Rugby for his red card at the SVNS series grand final. However, if he's called for the union (XV) national team for the June-July international window he'll able to deduct matches from this suspension (yes, international rugby works like that apparently). It's likely that he'll be available to play the olympic tournament from quarterfinals onwards.
