  1. The women's has DNF for our girl in MR, no one finishing in 4th place somehow, and haven't computed any medals yet. I see some journalists reporting silver medal already but no images or video about it.
  2. There was an effort for the home olympics but that was it. It's one of those sports where it's almost pointless to try to break into the elite if you aren't part of it already.
  3. Just found out Chile will play the women's football final without a natural Goalkeeper because the two they had have been called back by their european clubs. They knew Endler was leaving but were confident the substitute would be granted permission to stay but nope. Incredible mismanagement from the coach.
  4. Good chances Women's Hockey Men's Rugby Sevens Outside chances Sailing Nacra 17 Men's BMX Freestyle Kayak 1000m Men Men's Hockey Men's Volleyball Good chances if qualified (+ assemble decent squad) Men's Football
  5. This was completely predictable given the schedule, what are you saying? Probably won't win ANY gold until friday (!) and then we're going to be USA in the last 3 days.
  6. For people who wonder where lost those 10 golds... 4 in Rowing: majority of rowers retired due to age. 4 in Swimming: Bardach (1) and Pignatiello (3) retired, the latter at just 21 years of age. 1 in TKD: Guzman won silver this time. 1 in Boxing: Leonela Sanchez retired.
  7. In Pan it is. In 2015 Guido Andreozzi played singles bronze match and the two doubles finals back-to-back.
  8. Bellingham is the best player in the world right now. Unlike Mbappe and Haaland he can do everything in attack, like all the goats from the past did.
  9. I think he thought you were talking about Cuba. About Chile: I also think they have good chances in Golf.
  10. They jammed most of their good sports at the start (I guess to make more hype and get the public to attend), but I still feel like they have come a bit short in terms of wins?
  11. Very likely we'll fail to qualify in boxing for the first time since 1908, which would mark a new low for our soon-to-be dismantled olympic sport structure.
  12. Chile is actually underperforming a bit, right?
  13. Argentina 0-6 in the last 3 PAG. Maria Jose Vargas lost all finals. 5 of them to Mexico.

  15. No veo mas de un oro en vela. No hubo cambios que nos hayan favorecido.
  16. Si no hay un par de batacazos yo ya te digo que es posible terminar abajo de Chile. Contaba con que Uruguay les hiciera mas fuerza en el Remo pero no fue asi.
  17. Btw nothing to say about his political qualities but I found the AMLO reaction faces to watching Milei videos so funny not the commentary, just his faces.
  18. I wouldn't describe any faction of peronism as right wing except maybe in the 90s. Federal peronism is centrist at most. These labels are always a bit relative to what's in front though. What matters anyway is that an hypothetical government of Massa would certainly follow leftist policies for the most part even if he himself is not the most leftist member of the coalition.
  19. I only used the descriptions that majority of political analysts (both national and foreign) would use to label these parties. Btw you should cheer up, it's still perfectly possible for Milei to win (ofc I wouldn't want it, but it's a realistic scenario still).
  20. Presidential elections in finally arrived... here are provisional results (but already a big % of the vote computed): Sergio Massa ("Unión por la Patria", the ruling centre left party) 36% Javier Milei ("La libertad avanza", far right) 30% Patricia Bullrich ("Juntos por el Cambio", Centre right) 23% Other minor parties combined: 9%. There will be a run-off in November between Massa and Milei.
