  1. Here --> ñ use it please, we spanish speakers cringe when it's not used Well, I hope this ecuatorian wins since they don't have quota. I also hope our remaining girl loses so we have more chance for wild card in -80 (don't think she'll win anyway).
  2. Guzmán lost to the ecuatorian, total disappointment I have to process this.
  3. Well, it's entirely possible Guzmán loses to Muñoz, so why not. On the other side for me Pie will make the final 90% sure.
  4. ugh this group sucks, but it's all the same really. If we win Brazil but lose all other games +20 I'll still be happy
  5. It's not a big surprise for me that Crismanich lost, he just came back from one year injury last month and only made two combats before today. Still, hoping for a wild card. But I fear it won't be possible if Guzmán qualifies tomorrow. If I have to choose between the two, I think I would prefer Guzmán making the olympics since for me he would have a bigger chance for a medal.
  6. lol we are synchronized in this thread.
  7. Draw for the first day of PanAm qualifiers: http://mastkd.com/2016/03/113913/ Good draw for Crismanich, the cuban who for me is the most dangerous is on the side of Lopez.
  8. Results of internal selection of Mexico for olympics: M -58kg: Three participants Round-Robin between Cesar Rodríguez (who got the ranking quota for Mexico), Damián Villa and Carlos Navarro. Rodríguez def. Villa in the first combat but then Navarro defeated both and will represent Mexico at Rio (quite an upset). M -68kg: Another Round-Robin between 3 but this time no surprise, Saul Gutiérrez who obtained the ranking quota defeated both Abel Mendoza and Isaac Torres. W +67kg: Maria Espinoza def. Briseida Acosta in a single combat and will represent Mexico. W -49kg: Itzel Manjarrez was simply selected as representative because there aren't any other mexicans close to her ranking in this weight.
  9. I'm sorry but I won't be able to participate this time. I don't have enough time to pick a proper song or go through all the other songs and evaluate them.
  10. Well, surprises to tell about... We withdrew from hosting the Men's champions trophy (long story I don't want to talk about, related to national politics, it gives me a headache) and FIH gave it to England (so they will host both Women and Men now). Obviously FIH kicked us out of the tournament, but the surprise is that they also didn't invite the Netherlands! I guess they rejected invitation for some reason (preparation for Olympics maybe). Belgium and India will be wild cards and join GB, Germany, Australia & Korea.
  11. Actually "only" beating Sweden by 2 will do. Both teams will be at GD 0, but Netherlands will have scored more goals in any case. Netherlands will however need to win by 5 goals in case Norway beats Switzerland by 1 goal (and if NOR wins by 2, then NED needs to wins by 6 and so on).
  12. Brazil will debut in Vancouver next week.
