DAVID PŮLKRÁBEK získal v kategorii do 60kg na Grand Prix v mexickém Cancúnu skvělou BRONZOVOU MEDAILI, čímž si připsal výborných 350 bodů do olympijského žebříčku.
  2. The risky thing is the season preparation for many athletes. Those in winter sports undergo tough physical trainings - gain the muscle, condition, etc. In autumn, final preparation for competing and december starts the season. Could you imagina that they would have to end previous season March and right away start prefect preparation for Olympics which would be held some time August/September and then prepare perfectly for the new season? This is kinda impossible. Many athletes would have to give up winter season for Olympics (might not be prepared enough) or they would give up Olympics and would participate usual world cup. This would be real mess in their common seasonal routine. I am not saying that South America is bad place for Winter Sports or Winter Olympics. But because its geaografical location it might br hard for most athletes to prepare for the games.
  3. Argentina/New Zealand - the games would have to be in summer or early autumn. Regarding winter season I guess that it would be too risky for many athletes. Anyways, I agree that voting 2026 might be disaster. They did it right to make 2024 and 2028 host cities. For me, the highest possibility of election has the Italy. But I would not be surprised if all 3 candidates pulled out cause of high costs or referendum.
  4. Barbora Seemanová poplave o další medaili na OH mládeže! Na kraulařské dvoustovce postoupila do finále 4. nejlepším časem!
  5. Je to luxus!! Bara je velky talent!! Jeste holky veslarky stribro a uz jsme na 5 medailich. Rekl bych, ze to je celkem necekane :-)
  6. Díky moc! Ono by bylo fajn sledovat talenty obou zemí dohromady :-) Jako jedna země :-) ... Jak jsme se bavili. 1 země, silnější ekonomika, lepší zázemí pro mládež = více talentů světového charakteru :-)
Zato Martin Bezděk si na svoji dospěláckou OH asi ještě bude muset počkat, jelikož v kategorii do 81 kg má v Česku dva velké konkurenty, jmenovitě Petra a Musila. To šermířka Bieleszová teoretickou šanci na olympijskou nominaci do Tokya má :-)
  9. Nepřijemna komplikace pro vzperace Jiriho Orsaga. Novy kvalifikacni format pro OH v Tokyu zacne jiz letosnim MS a body do kvalifikace si poprve budou sbirat atleti sami. Jirkovi bohuzel jiz dlouho neda rameno spat a tak MS zmeska. "Po dvou OH ucastech. Londyne a Riu bych rad pridal i tu treti v Tokyu" prohlasil vicenasobny medailista z ME.
  10. Yeah, it's China. I live here 3 years so I can confirm. The kids at primary schools even have 2-week military training at school. Those, who are meant to be "professionals" are really drilled since very young age. Parents are OK with that and kids have no choice. But the result is usually great - Olympic and world champions. The base in many sports is huge so the world level athletes can even change from season to season. Despite all these fact, China is also good at cheating. Many doping cases on Olympic champions - especially weightlifting and during Beijing 2008 faking the real date of birth of the gymnasts so could compete even 12 years-olds. But back to the topic, the drilling here is sometimes really crazy but brings the great harvest afterwards.
  11. Hi everyone, maybe next time. We have national holidays in China, I am on the trip with my family. Lack of time to spend on the internet. I am sorry
  12. Therese is one of the athletes who was punished when many people did not agree with all the conditions. I am glad she is back !!

  15. So this ranking is being updated regularly (weekly) and according to this athletes will qualify for WCH 2019. Is that right?
  16. What is this contest all about? I am sorry, I did not really get the point.
  17. The say that the ranking for most disciplines is counted since Sep, 7th and marathon etc. from Mar, 7th. I was trying to find the ranking for the WCH 2019 on IAAF webside but I did not succeed. Or should I put there any special filter at the records&lists? Has anybody found anything?
  18. CZECH REPUBLIC Keep editing this post. (Last update: 18:46CET) Archery: Currently there is nobody capable to qualify to Tokyo. Artistic Swimming: Czech Women's Team Czech synchronized swimming has been forming a young talented team which might succeed to qualify for Tokyo 2020. The first chance is that they finish 1st - 7th place at the World Aquatics championship 2019 in South Korea. If so, they will qualify team and automatically also a duet. The second chance would be at the 2020 Final Olympic qualifying tournament, where will be given other 3 spots for teams. Czech Women's Duet If Czech women's qualifies, automatically is qualified also duet. If not, there are other ways how to qualify a duet. First, Czech duet would have to place at the first position of non-qualified countries at the 2019 European champions Cup. Last chance would be at the final Olympic qualifying tournament, where will compete countries which will have not qualified any swimmers. There will be selected other 7 duets to compete at the Olympics. At the European baseball championships 2019 they have to place from 1st to 5th place to earn the spot in Europe/Africa qualifying event, which will be held in February 2020. At this event will be 6 teams and only 1 will make it to Olympics. If Czech team does not win this tournament, but will place second, earns the spot for the last qualifying event which will be held in March or April 2020. Six teams will compete. Three of the teams will come from runners-up in the qualifying events above (second place in Africa/Europe, second and third places in Americas). Two more spots in this event will be granted to the best two finishers in the 2019 Asian Baseball Championship that have not already qualified for the Olympics. The winner of the 2019 Oceania qualifying event will also earn a spot in this tournament. From this final qualifying tournament, only one team will make it to Olympics. Basketball: Czech Men's Basketball Team How to qualify: Czech team qualified after long 37 years to World Championships, which will be in 2019 in China. They can directly qualify to Olympics from there. No matter what place they will rank, they have to be at most second best European team. This will give them certainty to participate Tokyo 2020. If they will not succeed, there will be four tournaments of Olympic qualification to Tokyo 2020. Each tournament will participate 6 teams and only winner can make it to Olympics. Regarding Czech team qualified for the world championships and if they did not succeed to qualify directly to Olympics, they would probably have sure participation at the Olympic qualifying tournament. Czech Women's Basketball Team The only way to qualify for Czech Female team is to succeed in one fo the Olympic qualifying events, which will be held in 2020. Places and dates haven't been established. To earn spot at the Olympic qualifying tournament, Czech female basketball must place on 1st to 6th sport at Women's EuroBasket 2019. 19. Well, he is kinda unusual traveller :-D .... But I would rather mention for what country is he competing now. What Turkey has been doing within past several years, is disgusting. They keep "buying athletes". Why? Because they had country-organized doping and decades, maybe hundreds of athletes who were competing in international level, failed the drug test. Suddenly nearly nobody was remaining. So they started with buying athletes and IOC is trying to stop this trading. Look at this. TURKISH ATHLETES (flag means country of birth) Ramil Guliyev Elvan Abeylegesse (After naturalization got 2 OG medals but failed drug test) Yasmani Copello Jak Ali Harvey Yasemin Can And this is just track and field. Of course very famous countries for this trade are also I think this is quite disgusting....
  21. Mne uprimne by se libilo, kdybychom opet soutezily obe zeme pod jednotnou vlajkou :-) Byla by mnohem vetsi "narodni" konkurence a tak i mnohem vice sportovcu schopnym konkurovat svetu. Ceskoslovensko by bylo opet velmi silna a vyspela zeme, ktera by jednou mohla poradat olympiadu. At uz zimni nebo letni :-)
  22. Jojo, dekuji.
Konec koncu neni jediny. Prestoupil tam i Henk Grol z Nizozemska, Lukasum velmi neoblibeny souper. Mimochodem behem MS na sebe nejspis narazi uz v druhem kole. Bude to zajimave.
