100m is super short for cross country skiers. Would consider it as pointless. You barely start and you finish in few sec. CCS has been made for longer distances. To make it more attractive - why not do it in a similar way when 2 guys compete but with more action. Let's say 400-500m with one U-turn. Attractive, in the turn can happen anything. But generally good idea - trying to follow parralel slaloms in alpine skiing and snowboarding.

This is super damn cool achievement. I truly believe that Ogrodníková a Špotáková will be in Tokyo. But final of WCH for Šedivá? Only 40cm behind her PB? Well, this might be big amount of points for her to the World ranking and I believe we will have 3 female javelin throwers in Tokyo. And if Frydrych works with his head, we might have also 3 male javelin throwers ..... Jan Železný and people around him have been doing unbelievable job for Czech javelin.

Definitely not. The competition is male events is so high that nobody could handle competing in both events at a top level.

They earn the Quota for a country. The thing is, for example there are 24 spots in K1 event. And if 1 competitor earns 2 Quotas and refuses one, the competitor is still eligible to compete at both events but there will be reallocation of unused Quota. So there might happen that in K1 regarding system of unsued Quota and reallocation will compete let's say 28 boats instead of 24 announced before qualification period. I guess they don't wanna really increase number of competitors in each event.

I suppose it will be shortly after WCH. And as is the first country below the line of C1, I guess they will almost surely earn the Quota after reallocation.

C1 Women Olympic Quota decided: No Quota and rough time next year will probably have Double Quota: Jessica Fox , Luuka Jones , Evy Leibfarth , Monica Villarubla and Ana Satila have earned quota in both K1 and C1 women. This means that probably both of them will decide in which category they will "return the Quota" which will be later re-allocated to following countries accroding to WCH 2019 Result list.

The mixed relay heat was crazy. Full of god damn records. If I imagine that finished last in their heat in a time worse less than 0,5 sec which gave them Silver at European Games.

Look at the female sprinters with long hair, those blacks with long dreads. They do not slow them down at all

Vít Müller with his 2019 PB 49,36 s ran 50:14 in heats with many mistakes according to his words. Tiny chances for final but hopefully could fight for new PB and get closer to Olympic standart.
