  1. Unfortunately no Lithuanians are scheduled to compete. Here is a list of entered competitors.
  2. Sailing updates: Laser radial +1 +1 +1 +1 Wild card awarded in 49er to +2 Wild cards awarded in Nacra17 to +2 +2 (one boat was reallocated from 49erfx women to this event). Panamsailing has some guts to reduce gender equality :P Sunfish (90% confirmed) +1 +1 +1
  3. Finally a sport Slovakia is better than Czechia ?
  4. The results system is horrible. I don't understand why countries bid to host and do this lol
  5. Handball draws: Men A: + qualifier B: Women: A: + qualifier B:
  6. 29 countries are scheduled to compete in the taekwondo qualifiers. All of them should qualify at least one athlete or receive a wild card.
  7. Every country has that one sport they are really bad at. Canada has handball. It all comes down to funding/interest.
  8. Which is the reason why I haven't joined. Haven't "discovered" a song worthy enough for the contest.
  9. Badminton Quotas, every country ranked got spots except Honduras. Not sure if countries will use their entire allocation. If they don't I would assume Honduras would have first right of refusal. Also, I believe Haiti is also interested in quotas, but this year unranked countries might not be eligible (I am not sure). +8 +8 +8 +8 +6 +6 +6 +6 +4 +4 +4 +4 +2 +2 +2 +2 +2 +2 +2 +2
  10. All of Canada's athletes are self funded.
  11. Yet another IF (AIBA) that could use one of our helps to double check their website for errors (they have Samoa's flag as Tonga) https://www.aiba.org/aiba-calendar-2019/
  12. Jones competed at the Scotties this week.
  13. I saw Canada's teams and tbh I don't know any of them. I am predicting 3-4 medals, all in hockey/curling
  14. If they use the World Rankings, Canada will most likely be in the group of death
  15. 2019 World Junior Medalists Men: Women:
  16. The IOC already said e-sports is a while from being added.
  17. Stupid decision. Pakistan is not even good at the sport. A lot of countries spent money getting there for no reason now.
  18. My understanding is this (not 100% sure): 5 teams in poomsae will qualify (5 each, with the teams consisting of 2 or 3 men/women each) + Peru 5. There is an extra spot which will be for females only (individual). How stupid is this system?
  19. So at the Canada Games, the men's mass start went on for an extra lap (error by officials) Edit: re-run tomorrow it appears. The original gold medalist won a foot race for nothing
  20. They signed up today lol, after my comment.
  21. https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/crosscountry/alex-harvey-to-retire-1.5026014 With that goes any hope of Canada doing well in this sport.
  22. @Olympian1010 The USA has not signed up its team for the taekwondo qualification tournament. Today is the deadline (they can still register after today, but would need to pay more $). Any idea if they are going or not?
  23. @vinipereira @mrv86 Anyone understand the poomsae qualification system?
  24. Less competition ...
