  1. It seems heat and humidity are a real issue in every game. I just watched v. Despite the heat, Japanese players were fast and precise. In the end, the fatigue caused by those factors and some errors in shooting caused them to score only 3 times. I’m completely impressed by their game and hope they get a great result next year. On the other hand Mexican squad is a complete disaster. Putting aside that they could barely secure plane tickets and their lack of adequate gear, they clearly seem lost on the pitch, they can’t get right a pass bigger than 3 meters and could only enter the circle twice in the game; their “best” player is the goalie, but that will not save them from ending at the last place. Yet I can’t dent I went crazy when they manage a quick counter attack and surprise Japan with the first goal of the match which is also the fastest in the tournament so far.
  2. There are no draw for the match-ups,,, results from the qualification round will be used to rank teams. Teams ranked 1st-8th will have a bye in first round, while those ranked 9th-24th will face each other.
  3. Here Any country with 3 athletes is automatically entered in team events.
  4. I thought I have posted about that already, but it seems I misplaced it somewhere. Moreno's injury is not that serious, but both she and the federation chose to let her skip Lima and instead focus on World Championships and Olympic ticket. This time it seems Mexican men will have better chances of ending in the podium. Our 2014 silver medalist Corral is back with decent scores and no pressure, so he may qualify for a couple of finals (bars, pommel horse) plus De Luna is our best card in Rings. About women, I don't expect a single medal this time... our all arounders are really inconsistent, Elsa Garcia is already in decline and Atziri Sandoval needs to improve her difficulty if she really wants a medal in uneven bars,
  5. Mexican Greco-Roman wrestlers continue to show progress in this discipline. Today they won 4 golds and 1 silver at the Jr. Pan American Championships
  6. Mexican Men's team has been announced. Daniel Corral is back on team and won the all around, followed by Fabian Luna. So I'm hoping those two advance to apparatus finals. Meanwhile, women's competition was held today. On a tragic note for our delegation, Alexa Moreno pulled out because of an injury , meaning no chance for medals this time, unless Ana Lago and Elsa Garcia have an awesome performance in their respecrive comebacks.
  7. Good show... would like to hear more collaborations in the future.
  8. Cuba gets the spot for North & American and Caribbean teams Final: 24 v. 27 3rd place: 22 v. 20 5th place match 27 v. 33
  9. Always the same in athletics Well Mexico is not going to enter every athlete that qualifies, as the idiot federation put more strict marks... in some cases, they go way past our own NR
  10. Thank you... so most likely everyone get an extra quota, the exception being Canada which already fulfilled max.
  11. Unfortunately, they were beaten today by Puerto Rico, so they'll have to play for bronze Semifinals: 29 v. 25 30 v. 23 7th place match 30 v. 24
  12. So according to my calculations there were 16 places to be reallocated. In addition to the above NOC's, who else got an extra place?
  13. Unless either Uruguay or Costa Rica pull one of the most biggest upsets, Colombia has qualified their women rugby team.
  14. Day 3 North & Central America & Caribbean Qualification Results Group A 21 v. 45 21 v. 27 Group B 17 v. 23 SEMIFINALS: v. v.
  15. I think Mexico is next in line, unfortunately for Bahamas According to my calculations here are provisional quotas for Judo after Pan American rankings: +11 +14 +11 +5 +9 +1 +14 +10 +4 +1 +2 +1 +1 +1 +9 +1 +3 +4 +13 +1 +10
  16. Well it's a miracle Erling Håland kept both legs after the match... Honduran players are the dirtiest in CONCACAF. Total humiliation for this U-20 squad, probably the biggest win in the history of this competition
  17. Day 2 North & Central America & Caribbean Qualification Results Group A 17 v. 24 40 v. 21 Group B 34 v. 36
  18. Until more roosters are revealed, I will reserve more detailed predictions, but here's my thoughts: 1st: USA 2-3: Brazil/Cuba 4: Canada, depending on how many "B" and "C" teams they'll be sending, but they could drop to 5th 5-6: Mexico/Colombia 7: Argentina 8-10: A lot of possibilites; my guesses are Venezuela, Chile & Peru as hosts, but the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico & Ecuador could finish there as well.
  19. If someone's interested, the Mexican NOC is broadcasting the qualification tournament of North & Central America & Caribbean Today's Results Group A 22 v. 22 30 v. 17 Group B 34 v. 38
  20. VOLLEYBALL GROUPS Men's Group A Group B: NORCECA team Women's Group A: Group B:
  21. Great finishes for Mexico, an eight place in men's and 11th in women's Hope this helps their chances to finish top 10 in the Panam Games.
  22. What was the last tournament considered for the qualification ranking?
  23. It was Colombia instead of Panama in the first KO.
