  1. In women's 3m springboard, Yiwen will almost certainly win gold, with Chang as the favorite for silver. But Chang may not even get past the prelims, as through two dives she's in 17th. If she does make it past prelims, and into the final, her silver medal is far from a guarantee, unlike other Chinese athletes. Wouldn't count out the likes of Vallee, Keeney, Ware, Sabri, Bacon and Pellecani on making it to the podium.
  2. Vallee won silver last year at Worlds in 3m (And bronze in 1m)... this time she may not even qualify for the semifinals (She already failed to qualify for the final in the 1m earlier this week).
  3. As it turns out, apparently Vernon-Evans has transitioned to a beach player. He would be better off as an indoor player though, he's shit on sand.
  4. 100m hurdles World Champion (And WR Holder) Amusan, is provisionally suspended for having missed three doping tests in the last year. "The Charge will be heard by the Disciplinary Tribunal and determined before the World Athletics Championships" If charged, it could result in a suspension of up to two years, which would have her missing the upcoming Olympics.
  5. 16 pages of replies on this thread?!? ... Wtf?!? Never knew diving was this popular
  6. Thought you were talking about Toulson, never mind.

  14. Women's 10m Platform Olympic Quotas:
  15. Bad third dive by McKay...
  16. all through to the women's 10m platform semifinals. 12 of the 17 will secure an Olympic quota for their NOC.
  17. Great Britain, China, France, and USA have already secured synchro quotas, so I'm assuming if an athlete from one of those countries places in the top 12, the spot will go to the next highest-ranked unqualified athlete? But I'm unsure, someone correct me if needed.
  18. Wellbrock wins gold in the 5km, completing the open water double! Paltrinieri takes silver, and Acerenza takes bronze.
  19. Beck doubles up on the open water events, this time winning the women's 5km title. Van Rouwendaal takes silver, and Cunha completes the podium with bronze.
