In women’s 57kg, Deguchi v. Huh for gold, Silva v. Funakubo for the 1st bronze & Liparteliani v. Cysique for the 2nd bronze Fingers crossed that there’s not a robbery unlike the last World final

Ultimate revenge. Also, Arthur Margelidon just lost in his first repechage bout in men’s 73kg to Lombardo really quickly. Ugh.

Surprused no one has mentioned it yet, but Djokovic defeated Nadal 6-1, 6-4, in what could (hopefully not) be the final match of Nadal’s career. Valiant effort from 0-4 down in set 2 to get it to 4-4, but not to be.
