  1. I think you are looking at a massive win for South Africa right now. They've scored 399 in their inning and England is struggling 145/8 after 20.3 overs. It is a matter of time until they are bowled out.
  2. At this run rate from Sri Lanka in the 2nd innings (153 runs and 7 wickets with 188 balls remaining), the Netherlands can not produce another surprise. In the other match of the day, South Africa is building a solid 192 runs after 30 overs in the first innings.
  3. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli - players from the old guard
  4. I was cheering for Hyderabad Sunrisers some years ago when IPL was live on Youtube. Too bad those free live coverage times are history. I also followed the Division structures of international cricket, of course most of those countries without OD status. Oh yes, and my team in Battrick is in the West Indies which I chose over the Scotland or Netherlands simply because they have a First Class championship and The Netherlands doesn't have. Also, the OD and FC matches in India were played in the morning here in Romania while I could follow live match text commentary if located in the Caribbeans during afternoon and evening hours at my local time.

  6. So, there've been 12 "centuries" so far at this World Cup. South Africa has managed 3 against Sri Lanka and one against Australia. New Zealand scored 2 in the opening against England. England had one against Bangladesh and India benefit from Rohit Sharma against Afghanistan. Interesting, both Pakistan and Sri Lanka had 2 "centuries" in their match. However, scoring over 100 points is not as excited as in T20 I think. India must win tomorrow against Bangladesh to match New Zealand perfect record so far.
  7. Great result for the Netherlands It makes me forget West Indies are not there.
  8. If FIFA considers giving that big trophy to Messi, for an achievement that happened last year, they should consider to split it with Cristiano Ronaldo as they would both deserve it and it would mean the end of these two rivals domination in international football. Messi doesn't deserve it more than Ronaldo if he is to get it.
  9. Hungary's win over Serbia was what I expected and it shows maturity in the game for the Nemzeti Tizenegy .
  10. Great Venezuela Hoping for a long waited first WC qualification.
  11. For all you trekkies out there Benjamin Šeško of Slovenia, aged only 20, just scored his second goal in the qualifying match against Finland (his 9th overall for the national team)

  13. May 30th 1995: South Africa - Romania 21-8 (Pool A) Even though a loss, this is the closest result of Romania with the rugby union giants. I could only hope sometime in the future we could get there again. This generation is compromised....
  14. Two different passions: Slovenia's Benjamin Šeško of RB Leipzig and United Federation of Planets' Benjamin Sisko of DS Nine
  15. Apart from the political views/affinities that anyone is entitled to have it is plain stupidity to know the rules would be against your team for such behavior and to still act like that. Those slogans never change anything when used in sport events. Unfortunately you can see the difference between a football and a rugby match (now that the Rugby World Cup is under way) even in terms of attendance behavior. Booing national anthems included.
