Also, I’m curious. I know the men’s 4x400m relay performed really well at Budapest last year, and might are probably in with a chance of a medal, but can I ask why the other two 4x400m relays are on your must watch list?

In the season opener held in the scorching heat the women's team clocked 3:28:64 despite all of them running mixed relay and hour ago. None of the athletes were at their best but that was the quickest season opener as far as the records go. With all racers trying to get into best shape in a standalone women's relay sub 3:26 is possible which would break the 20 year old national record. Men were pretty poor with 3:05:71 and hope they catch up early for mixed relays.

You mean your men’s 4x400m relay? Your women’s 4x400m relay probably won’t even qualify. I’m also surprised Neeraj Chopra in men’s javelin throw isn’t on your list.

No I mean all 3 relays. We should qualify our women relays in Bahamas, maybe even an outside chance to qualify for finals. Mixed is a little unsure as of now. Men aren't in the best form this year but at least should make it on top 2 best times.

as someone who watches no archery,Has Korea dropped off in like the last decade ? from like dominating everything i mean, just curious

Like what @sounak said. :IND is the no 1 in compound archery winning most of the golds in individual, team, mixed team and even cleansweep sometimes.

In recurve Korea is strong but yeah they're going down. Women's team lost in R16, no individual champion. Korea won 3 medals at World Archery Championship last year, two in recurve and one in compound.

Day 3 will decide if Mongolia or Japan will win the most gold medals.

I think it will be Japan as they have some good heavy weights ready

Japan's unseeded or not high ranked athletes are making the championships unpredictable

Still no draws on IJF though

Hope this does not continue for the other events.

It's on Twitter it you type Asian judo championship you'll get the draws

I don't understand how the relay event will happen only 1h50 after the men's.

Athletes don't participate in both. Someone told me we can have upto 5 race walkers if you get 2 relay team quotas. Since we qualified 3 and additionally 4 others have got standards we have put our best 2 women race walkers (just 1 has individual Q ) in mixed relay along with 2 men so as to provide more race walkers an opportunity.

  6. @hckošice the struggle is getting real. I wasn't joking when I said it won't be easy for us to win many medals. Wrestling, Hockey, Weightlifting, Out of form Sindhu, Far from convincing Lovlina= 7-6=1 Neeraj.

This coupled with endless federation issues, politics, highest unemployment rates in decade, lack of grassroot funding, poor anti doping awareness, and lack of public interest outside cricket.

  7. Here are the previews for Women's Wrestling

50kg: As simple as it gets :IND:PRK are in opposite halves and should qualify easily. Vinesh is returning to the category after a long time. She's a former World Medallist. North Korean is Asiad silver medalist.

53kg: :PRK:CHN are favourites and are in opposite halves.

57kg: A dreadful draw in top half. :MGLOlympic medalist in 53kg, :PRKJong who beat Sakurai at AG but was cruelly denied and :CHNHong are in top half. The 2nd Chinese Feng tasted defeat to Sakurai for the first time in 5 years last week. In bottom half it's easy going for former World silver medalist:INDAnshu except for small hurdle in form of World U20 medallist Kyzy:KGZ.

    I will say :PRK:IND

62kg : :MGL has an easy draw in top half. :PRK:CHN:IND in bottom half but :PRK should get it.

68: :KGZ Olympic medalist Zhumanzharova is favourite :INDNisha should follow but :CHN is strong too

76: :KAZ is favourite. :IND:CHN for next 2 quotas, I'll pick the former.

    :PRK:IND 4

    :CHN:KAZ:KGZ:MGL 1

I can't believe I put 1 for :CHN it could go maybe say upto 3 or so due to close fight in many and :IND getting 4 would be a record, maybe we end at 3 also.
