FINALLY!!! Wonderful day for our sport. It was so obvious - almost every single lifter that was trained by him wa coughed using doping. 5 cases just last year! In the article you can also see official video from Klaipėda District Organised Criminal Activity Search Authority Youtube page with all of the substances that was. Creepy how much of different kind of doping he had. Man right now is in jail and likely to get 4 years behind the bars according to Lithuania's law. Also Lithuanian Weightlifting Federation will have to face the law as well.

@Bearas @Werloc Could you give a short account of what happened there (has he reacted, how did they discover this, etc)? The English page requires a subscription and Lithuanian is not very much liked by Google Translate apparently :p

Well, as expected Bronislovas feels very attacked and claims that someone's out to get him, how he's framed blah blah and blah. How he always said to his athletes that taking doping is bad and yeah, that's pretty much his side of the story.

  • Thanks 1

Adding more context, they found Nandrolone, Oxymetholone, Metandienone, Oxandrolone, two types of Testosterone, Xanax, Turabolone, Tribestan and Ethinylestradiol in his possesion :)

"Dominated world championships over the years".

Right, which suggests multiple world titles in the past, let's say, 10 years.

- David Rudisha

- Asbel Kiprop

- Ezekiel Kemboi

- Vivian Cheruiyot

- Edna Kiplagat

- Abel Kirui (although his last title is 7 years ago)

Those seem to be the only options, unless they're very much exaggerating the 'dominated world championships' part..
