Swimming Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games

But the Qualifying Times in the Qualifying period were achieved by following Polish swimmers:

 

Men

Paweł Juraszek - 50 free

Wojciech Wojdak - 800 free

Radosław Kawęcki - 200 back

Michał Poprawa - 200 fly

 

Women

Katarzyna Wasick - 50 free

 

And we have a few relays qualifed, because they were in Top 12 World Champs 2019

 

M 4x100 free

W 4x100 free

M 4x200 free

W 4x200 free

Mixed 4x100 medley

That would be nice.

But I would even try to go further and try to prepare potential start lists in ALL events in ALL sports.

But it would be a loooooot of work and my closest vacation is early March.

the problem is that there are not all the names, and nothing says if the Olympic committees have validated the quotas

2 extra quotas for every relay. So, for Italy, 10 singles quotas (plus Paltrinieri that is already qualified in marathon Swimming), 8 relays extra quotas (4 relays already qualified)

In Poland the only moment of validating quotas by the NOC is a few days before the Games, when the names of the whole team are announced. All before is just what we suppose, because always the final decision belongs to the NOC. Even the NFs announcing their teams are "just recommendations".

    • I think the 6-team restriction is to include many new things (lacrosse, flag football, etc...) in the olympics. IOC would not want to expand the total number of players by having too much team in here.
