Ligtlee looks like she has spent the entire winter eating non-stop, dear lord. I wouldn't be surprised if she entered the velodrome through the emergency exits.

 

Now I get why she didn't qualify for the sprint and keirin.

Sorry for the late reply, because I don't follow all the news around this, but apparently in December the new Dutch coach (Bill Huck) was rather clear about Ligtlee: "She is too heavy and she knows it. She's overweight and she'll have to change that, because with this weight she won't be able to deliver world class performances."

 

So I guess all that is the reason for her not being that good anymore nowadays (logically if you saw her today, like she ate a 10-person lasagna dinner for breakfast).
