Yes. There is also a chance in ongoing 470 Asian Championships. There are only 15 teams: 5 from China (not eligible), 5 from India and 5 from other nations. But, since no team of ours participated in Asian Games, not sure how good are our chances of winning the lone quota on offer.

There is nothing like a chance or anything. Only for exposure we are sending 5 teams. We are very bad in this event. At the 2018 Asian Championships we finished 10th and 11th behind China, Japan,  HKG, Singapore, both Korean Thailand pairs and behind 1 Malaysian team and the gap is just huge like 19 and 60 points between Korea and India. So no question about qualifications.

Good selection trials in boxing I feel the teams are the best we could have hoped for

Mary kom ... 51

Sakshi       57

Simranjit - 60

Lovlina      69

Pooja....... 75

I am happy that sarita got defeated in the 60 because she has not done anything in the global arena at all......

I think sakshi is a really fast boxer and has age on her side, lovlina , Mary and pooja to some extent select Themselves

This is the mens team-

52kg Amit
57kg Gaurav Solanki
63kg Manish Kaushik
69kg Vikas Krishan
75kg Ashish Kumar
81kg Sachin Kumar
91kg Naman Tanwar
91kg +Satish Kumar

A bit surprising that Gaurav Solanki won here ahead of Kavinder Bisht. Otherwise expected results. Good to see Vikas Krishan making an attempt again to qualify for olympics after turning professional.

    • What are the odds WTA/ITF has Kostyuk vs Potapova AO R1 just to see if the hand shake happens?
    • Malinin  opted for the 4-Axel in his Short Program, but faltered, landing him in 3rd thus far (and only 0.05 away from 4th!).  Surely he has the tools to rise back up in the Free Program.  (Also, perhaps this will serve to show him that he is in fact beatable.)
    • I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->
    • Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
    • That's what I'd plan as well (except for MelFest), but I also know I am hypocritical enough to still want to watch the show and have a fun evening

For Planet VPN....well, let us know if you find out.   fil-taker-list-25-26-winterberg-1.pdf   Also, should have mentioned above that the Nations Cup races today are just over one leg, whereas there are two runs in each of the World Cup races.
    • Got our first competition of the season coming up in Solitude, Utah  this weekend.  Live on Discovery Plus etc, plus also YouTube and the Olympic Channel.  If you are new to the sport, the sprint races on Saturday will be the format you'll find easy to understand.     ISMF   ISMF Skimo - YouTube
    • Surely. Her first coach now works in russia (and grandma lives in russia according to Sereda). They were in contact and despite of full funding from  the girl decided to become the star of russian propaganda.  As I saw in X: "It took the Russians four years of war to find a relatively well-known sports personality to carry out such a propaganda operation."
