I can't believe Ed Holloway became the host canoe slalom commentator!

 

He is normally an equestrian commentator. And also a doctor.  Only his doctor's license got famously removed once it was discovered he was inventing sick leave to comment equestrian events. You know, priorities.

I know very little about canoeing and the last genuine medal chance for us I remember were Kolomanski/Staniszewski in Atlanta & Sydney (and they won silver IIRC). Any Polish medals in this discipline must be considered a total surprise
