The WEC season opened today with the 4 hours of Silverstone and much to the surprise of absolutely nobody in the entire world, Toyota went home with a 1-2 win.

Yeah, and you'd never guess, but it wasn't even close! It might have something to do with them being the only big team in LMP1, but who knows, maybe it was a lucky hit :p

Once again IndyCar seems to be filled with a bunch of rookies only

Graham Rahal causing quite some damage in the very first turn, resulting in a long caution, after which Ryan Hunter-Reay with a total suicide mission bombed Jack Harvey and himself out of the race within one and a half lap. And Rahal and Hunter-Reay are supposed to be the experienced guys there

Some of the best non-racing action in motorsports for me is when NASCAR has a rain delay and they can't do much else but show what the drivers are doing. Especially loved Clint Bowyer going out in the rain to a single Alex Bowman-shirt wearing fan on the stands to have a chat (and burn his buddy who went to find some shelter and beer) and tell him to 'fix that Alex Bowman stuff dude'. Followed by a visit to a trailer where Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin and Ricky Stenhouse were playing a golf video game and when asked who's the best, Hamlin's answer was it was of course Kyle "because he's Asian" :p (and before 'OMG RACIST' hits, it was Larson himself who started that about himself, all in good spirits)

Plus Darlington, always a nice throwback weekend :)

How interesting this is depends entirely on the entry lists :p

You're confusing FIA with FAI by the way, unless it's going to go like this, in which case it might turn to FAI:
